kanes games demo rpg advocacy

Kane's Advocacy is the second game to follow the adventures of Kane. This time you must choose between two large towns (and their surrounding areas) called Ryson and Dirkley. Whichever town you choose is the one you will explore for the rest of the game. after your choice it won't take you long to learn that there is a strife between the two towns and you must choose who you will side with. If you go to Ryson will you aid them, or aid the Dirkley spies? If you go to Dirkley will you aid them or the Ryson spies? This leads to 4 different ending paths for you to take, but that's not all! After you beat that path you will be directed to read the appropriate epilogue text file which will not only tell you a little bit of what happens after that ending, but will also tell you what happens with certain quest lines depending on the choice you made for them and the town you sided with.

Speaking of side quests you will be happy to learn that the quests are much better written with more rewarding choices than Kane's Plight. There are several quest lines where the choice you make will influence what future quests you get from them, making multiple playthroughs a necessity to see the different consequences. Quests you can expect to find involve a sentient meteorite, working rights for miners, sick raccoons, and creatures that feed on bones who are after a group of living skeletons.

Even more of an emphasis on writing was placed on this game, so the 4 skills (survivability, mechanics, beast language, and climbing) don't play as much of a role as they did in Kane's Plight. Instead of good or evil points you get "city points". Go to Ryson and do something that hurts a citizen there and you will get Dirkley points. Help them instead and you will get Ryson points. These points are necessary for completing the game so make sure you've decided who you want to aid before you do a bunch of quests!

The demo allows you to go to both towns, but many of the quests are blocked off. The following link is my site where you can learn more about my game, including the walkthrough, and to purchase the game for $9:
