Revert Back to Non-Specified Battle Background

Question

Is there any way to revert back to a non-specified battle background in the same room after you have changed the battle background in an event?  By non-specified I mean it loads different backgrounds based on which tile you're on, not the same one for the whole room.

You should be able to do a Change Battle Background again, but leave the selections as None.

I get a totally black empty background when the next battle happens doing that.

yeah that stuff happens in battle test too if you put none as background... it seems like none is not the same as not having a specified battleback...

 

by non-specified you mean the autotile based battlebacks?

Yes, I mean the autotile ones.  I'm interested in a way to switch back to the autotile based battlebacks after a non-random battle occurs which changes the battleback when the battle starts.  After the battle occurs I want to switch back to the autotile based battlebacks without leaving the map room.  Is there a way to do this?

Add this to a new script slot:

class Game_Map  alias shaz_game_map_change_battleback change_battleback  def change_battleback(battleback1_name, battleback2_name)    if battleback1_name == '' && battleback2_name == ''      setup_battleback    else      shaz_game_map_change_battleback(battleback1_name, battleback2_name)    end  endend

This will check if BOTH the ground and wall battlebacks are (None), and if so, will call the process to set up battlebacks based on the map settings (at the time the map was loaded).
