Celianna's Tileset

341 posts in this topic

This is a VX tileset version out of my most recent stuff, completely made by me, or edits made from the default VX RTP.

This tileset is exclusive to rpgmakerweb.com and pixanna.nl please do not redistribute these.

IGMC: due to the IGMC going on, I have a special rule. If you win any of the cash prizes, you are expected to purchase a commercial license for the resources you've used that were made by me. If you don't win, you don't have to do anything! There's currently a sale on my website that will last until the 15th of July, so decide quick.

Spanish: No distribuir mis tiles ni subirlos a ningún otro sitio. Si quieres compartirlos, por favor, enlázalos al sitio original. Si ves mis tiles en cualquier otra parte, además de aquí, es que se han distribuido sin mi permiso.

Without further ado, here are the tilesets:

Old version:

Looking for the old version of Celianna's Tileset? It can be found on my website.

Commercial:

Free for non-commercial use. For commercial use, please PM me. You must own RPG Maker VX to be able to use this commercially. It is important to note that if you are using a crowdfunding platform such as Kickstater or IndieGoGo, you cannot use my tiles to show off your project. The bottom line; if money is involved using my tiles, you'll have to purchase the commercial license.

Distributing:

Not allowed, my tileset is only available to rpgmakerweb.com and cannot be cross posted anywhere else (this is, and forever will be, not allowed). Direct linking to the images is also a no-no. Please link back to this thread if you wish to share them.

Can be used:

Only in RPG Maker products. Meant for VX, but can be used in Ace as well!

Those are really beautiful! I love how the colors are rich but not oversaturated. And how there's more than one size of tree.

I found an error in one of your autotiles. It is the third from the right in the second row in Tile A2. I would upload or attach an image but for some reason i am not able to upload images. The the it'll be nice if you could correct it as soon as possible.

I love these tilesets, I will make use of them in a project, even if I don't find a use now.

Can you tell me what kind of error?

I know some are misplaced and gives the sprite a colour overlap. A script to disable this would help out.

Sorry i couldn't attach the images before. Here it is. notice the corners where they bend (highlighted in red). i'm pretty sure you can fix that easily.

Ah that one, it wasn't really meant to be used for corners like that (just a simple square will do), but I'll keep this in mind in my next update.

I want to give you my first ever Seal of Approval.

SealOfApproval.png

That is for creating some of the best/most useful tiles around, being a fair mod, and Overall awesomeness.

I have used your tiles many many times, so I thought it was time I showed appreciation for them.

(Also, Im looking forward to one day playing a completed Tailor Tales. Must say, it looks gorgeous.)

Thanks for sharing Celianna, these tilesets are wonderful :)

Usually what kind of software do you use to make all these?

My sister and I are learning to spriting, and usually we use photoshop.

Anyway thanks a lot :)

I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0, but any image editing software that support transparency and layers will work. I have a small tutorial on how to edit tiles that might help you out.

Thanks a lot, Celianna.

The link you gave me for tutorial is very nice indeed, but I'm still very bad at giving shading and light (which I have to learned first).

I have to try harder and if I posted some of my work someday, I will really appreciate if you give me some constructive opinion on what needed to be redone and else.

Along with photoshop, you can try Pixlr if you're just a beginner! It supports layers and transparency.

Love your Tilesets Celianna.
