[Karberus]

Hello world of RPG's, Today I decided to begin working on title screens mostly for fun, since I like learning different stuff.
Here I'll post my work and I would appreciate any comments and ideas or suggestions.
Also, you can request a Title screen if you want.
You may request for these reasons:

• To use it in your project
• To help me practice
• Any other reason xD

The rules are simple, (Kinda stole them from Reisen xD)

• You must have at least 5 posts before requesting.
• You can only request once per week.
• You must follow the given form if you're gonna submit a request.
• The thread starter has the right to deny a certain request maybe due to vulgar or sexual content.
• The max dimensions of titlescreens/gameovers must not exceed above 650x650.

So here are the ones I created based on what my family told me, some old and really young people lol.

Here's a request for ya.

Title: Black Flame
Sub-Text:

Theme: I want this to look sorta old-fashioned, with the main part of the image being taken up by rolls of parchment paper with maps and charts drawn on them, etc, on a wooden surface, with maybe a dagger pinned on it. Imagine a sort of pirate-ish setting, in what you'd picture the captain's quarters to look like. I'd like it to be kinda dark too, with the image looking like it's lit by a candle.

Size: Same as your examples.

Details: I guess I covered most of this in the theme description... But, as for the text with the game title... I'd like it to look handwritten, preferably with This Font!, and in black with a black flame behind it and have it all centered. Hmm, it's really hard to describe it all in a lot of detail, so I'm gonna place my faith in you. I guess if needed, it shouldn't be too hard to edit.

Title: Soul Striders
Sub-Text: (none)
Theme: Converging Light and Darkness
Size: 544 x 416
Details: The Theme is Chaos. I'd specifically like the symbol for Chaos used in this. You may know of it from World of Warhammer, but it's been around a lot longer than that. It's actually a real symbol. As long as you use the details I've just given, then I'll be perfectly happy with what you come up with.

@The Welsh Paddy - It's my first time taking any request from people other than my family so I was very nervous, I'm a beginner so sorry if it's not what you wanted but it was fun to make and I tried xD Let me know what you think about it.

That's great! Only one thing, though. Is there any chance you could make the glow around the text a bit lighter, to make it stand out a bit more?



Maybe the same colour as where that red arrow is pointing?

@The Welsh Paddy - Light is really hard for me to deal with, I kept trying different ways to do what you asked but nothing seemed to work, finally I got something to kinda look like I thought you wanted it, but I'm still not sure. I hope this works. Sorry if it doesn't, it's so hard for meeee

Theme: I want an eerie but whimsical theme, like a Tim Burton Wonderland meets Walt Disney's Wonderland... Except I don't actually want Wonderland, that's just to make a point.
Size: 544x416
Details: Both a title and end screen in the same style please. The game is mostly about a child's dreams and their nightmares that try to invade them, so those themes would be kind of neat to play off of, maybe a clashing of the two.

Details: looking from a cliff down to a large lake with a city on the other side. a wolf is standing on the cliff howling.
the city below burning, a cressent moon high in the sky. there is a castle towards the left side of the city. with a river running behind it, moutains on the other side of the river, forest is sorounding the city.

Theme: A darker theme, with dark purples, blacks, reds, and deep golds.
Size: Standard VX ACE
Details: I suppose a quill and a book would work, perhaps a closed book with my avatar motif as a cover. Maybe an inkwell knocked over and a quill with blood on the tip? Something very solemn and dark would be nice.

I like your art style allot, I just hope your able to undertake this request or if you would see it as a type of challenge.

Details: I would like my title to be presented as an olden day text, as if it was written on old parchment with black ink. You know, like in medieval times when they used to write with fancy letters and stuff. If possible I want it to be in lower-case. If you could do this for me that would be splendid.

I know how that feels Karberus, I've had to move three times in my life and it's not really fun.
I want to make a small note to my request, for the font try to find something that would
normally be seen in a fantasy book or movie title.
