VX ACE MACK character sprites

Question

Hi, everyone!

I'm desperately trying to insert character sprites created via Mack's generator into vx ace game.

The problem is, it looks like it supports only 32x32 sprites, when Mack's are 32:48.

Is there any solution? Thank you

Ace supports sprites in any sizes.

However, if you've got only 1 Spriteset in your image (1 character 3x4) you have to put $ at the start of it's name.

Look at the Big Monster sprites, they are bigger than 32x32 and have only on spriteset ^^

You're using the wrong image dimensions and probably the wrong amount of frames. Ace uses 3 frames per side, so that makes 3 columns and 4 rows (up, left, right, down). Please adjust your sprite to that.

sorry, I forgot one thing, XP used 4 Frames (columns) 2 of them are the same (the still standing pose) and ace uses only 3 (since the still standing one in xp is just a copy anyway)

you have to remove one of the still poses of the xp set so you have the stepping poses left and right and the still one in the middle ^^

Despain, try not to just quote someone's post and use it as the only content in your post.
