Does it have to be in a office building? What do you think the have to's are of a game studio?
I say when two or more people work together to make games they can call themselves a team if three or more and they have a couple computers in say their basement or garage maybe small studio?
What is your thoughts?

It's just a name. You can call it "studio" if you have just one person doing all the work.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studio
"A studio is an artist's or worker's workroom, or the catchall term for an artist and his or her employees who work within that studio."
If you're working solo, any room you do game development in can be loosely called a studio. If you're creating a development team, they're not part of your studio unless they work there. It's generally reserved for people who buy an office, or rent a studio apartment/ward and work by themselves or with a team.
It would be better to call it a "Team" or a "Group" as that's all it really is unless you're working out of a Studio with that team.

I honestly think people should stop trying to act like they are bigger than they are. Just be honest about who you are. If you are one dude and want to call yourself a studio, just make sure you make it obvious you are one dude.
Don't use WE when talking about your "group", say I. There is no shame in doing everything yourself, or just hiring/asking some freelancers to contribute. I mean, look at Pixel or Brian Provinciano.
Basically, just be honest with your audience and don't try to make yourself out to be bigger than you actually are.

Good for you buddy. What kind of recording system do you have if I may ask?
