If you would like, super pretendo, you're welcome to download a free 30 day trial, and take a look at the Script Editor. As Jet said, it's based off Ruby, so if you're familiar with the language, you can look at all the base scripts and see how the core comes together and works.
From there, it should be easy to write your own scripts :)
