[gamemaker]

I am having problems with my RPG maker VX Ace. It used to work just fine. But now everytime I try to open the program it gives me this message.

"Unable to find the language resource DLL"

Any help would be apreciated.

Are you using the legally-purchased version of this program or did you pirate this illegally? I'm not accusing—but these kind of problems have happened in the past when people have pirated Japanese versions of the program.

Have you tried re-downloading and re-installing the program?

If reinstalling doesn't work, try uninstall, defrag THEN reinstall. Maybe even do a disk check. Could just be a corrupt sector causing the issue.

Japanese trial or English trial? Did you install anything over it (like the language patch on the Japanese trial)?

Did you download it from THIS site (Degica's)? I'd go with frieza's suggestion - uninstall, redownload, reinstall.
