Wow! These are really nice, IceDragon! A lot of it looks like it could go directly with the RTP, but some parts don't but hat's not a bad thing though because I don't think you would want to mix fantasy tiles with high-tech/sci-fi style tiles anyway.

As for suggestions.... well, how about like big generators, a "STAY OUT" or "HIGH VOLTAGE AREA" or "KEEP OUT" some signs like that. And something's got to power this high-tech under ground lair! How about a massive super-computer, and some wall flat screens. Ooh, and what about keypads and elevators? Would holograms of secret blueprints or people be insane? :)

Holy spork splitter, these are fantastic! :o

And you also have filled a MASSIVE gap in terms of a type of modern/futur-y resources I hadn't been able to find: one (stylistically/artistically consistent) large tileset that can cover general industrial areas. AND there are some tiles for making damaged/beaten up/abandoned-looking places too!

My sci-fi project is on hold for now, but I have every intention of returning to it someday, and these will be VERY useful for it.

Also, I second pretty much all of the suggestions made by starcrescendo. :D In addition, how about like a landing area for small air/spacecraft? Or a larger scale airport/spaceport type setting?

I can see a lot of people being directed to this topic, those tiles are brilliant and really industrial looking. You've got some in there which I wouldn't have ever thought about doing.

Could I just ask, are the black areas transparent? In regards to this:

Just thinking that the developer could add a nice ooze/water/molten image behind it.

These sets are amazing!

As someone who is currently developing a game with some futuristic settings, I think these would work perfectly. I agree with Saito that having tiles to go with a port setting would also be cool and would also humbly suggest perhaps that you may also want to consider tiles for more of an overworld map setting as well. Part of the game I am designing has an ruined world area in a future setting, something similar to the ChronoTrigger's 2300 AD. Just some food for thought.

Hi *stands at attention and accepts the seal of approval*
Anyway, the project that I made these tiles for are, is kinda on hiatus, that's the reason for the slow to no update.

I'm glad you guys like it.

These tiles are a lot of fun to play with! I am using them right now and I am enjoying the change from the default fantasy tiles.
I will probably make a project with these, highly recommended!

Hummmmmm ...

My eyes shine in the face of such wonders!
Really a great job ...
Even more to the rarity of tiles so futuristic ...
And when well-mapped then the work still gets more
Perfection.

IceDragon Very good, very good.
I applaud standing!

Is there any possibility for me to post these
tiles in another community?
Of course keeping the credits and the link of this post ...

I love the futuristic tiles! Awesome work!
...And what better way to reinvent the form than to toss virtually 99% of everything that's been done with it and start with a brand-new canvas, reinvent it from the ground up? Digital comics gave me the opportunity to do that, and producing things digitally gave me the opportunity to do that.--Scott McCloud
