Just got Final Fantasy IX for PS1 today! But it was missing the 4th disc, and in it's place was Anthology: FFVI. So I'm gonna play VI first, then get Disc 4.

Glitches and load times aren't something you worry about when playing a game made in the late 90s, early 2000s.
You can also play FF9 on a PC emulator and get virtually no load times. I think if he wanted a streamlined process, he'd not get a PS1 disc.
Load times and potential glitches happen. It's part of being old hardware.

Man ff9 was the first game I played on the ps1 v2, for me it is the best final fantasy the story and characters is soooooo good :)
