Currently making something terrible
Crusader kings chronicles, chapter 4: I married my daughter to the king of Norway. His heir's wife killed him in three months to make sure..
her husband gets on the throne. Naturally, since this was an event involving my family, I was outraged. So I immediately declared war.
With my luck, I would achieve immortality the day before the universe implodes on itself. Float through the void. Eventually stop thinking.
You must be Cars.
That's what you get for trying to destroy the world.
Well, since the theory of expansion and contraction includes the universe expanding again with another big bang - I think you're about to expect quite the show.
That's kinda how I view my pension... I'll hit it in next 12-15 years and that'll be about the time of insolvency or collapse.
Currently looking into distributing my games on other app stores besides Google Play. Checking out SlideME and the Amazon Store.
Have you actually sold ANY substantial amount of games on Google Play? I imagine its so congested that anything more than a few sales wouldn't be possible without a lot of advertising.
@SimProse yes, actually. I make a pretty decent income ("decent" in my context being that the income from Google Play pays for my utilities every month). Still, I'm always looking for more opportunities.
There's a lot of factors that hold back my Google Play sales though, the big one being that MV games won't run on low-end and older devices. If it weren't for that alone I'd probably focus all my effort solely on Google Play sales.

Wanted a telescope in The Sims 4, but could only buy a huge observatory. You're either a hardcore astronomer, or you're nothing. xD
@Lemonrice Was your sim looking at more than just the stars? I remember, in the Sims 1, that if your child performed poorly in school, they'd be shipped off to military school. lol.
Well... It was daytime and he was obviously not looking at the sky xD
@Lemonrice Did you ever play Sims Medieval? I thought that was pretty good. My favourite Sims game, however, is the Urbz: Sims in the City.
Owls, owls, owls...gotta think of a game that people will give a hoot.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps?
I will be absent and not developing anything for as long as I have games to play. I guess it'll be >= 600 h.
See you in 2234.
Today my mouse slipped from my lapdesk, bounced three times across the floor and landed perfectly in the cat's waterbowl, six feet away.
Does it still work?
It still works @FleshToDust @The Stranger that might be the cutest thing I've seen this year
@standardplayer I love how the lil' bunny just sits there and takes it. xD
Spare timeeee...where are youuu?!? I wanna go back to gamemake and make silly little games.
Its off in a field of flowers, frolicing with all the socks we lose in the washer.
Moving ahead to the next phase
I have that in my Anime to watch list.
I have an extra Steam key for RPG Maker XP from Humble Bundle. Does anyone want it?
Lol sure I'll take it
Ok, I'll PM you the link!
About to release my game- thought I'd thank this forum who supported me throughout my development cycle- thanks rpgmakerweb! You're awesome!
In my games, after the main Credits list, I also thank the Members of this forum.
I do as well.
Stream will be live shortly with some more Bully! We are starting Chapter Five. Feel free to drop by!
Keep thinking up interesting ideas for Altimit Movement 2 Plugin: generating sector/portal based 2D collision hulls from map/png
Major benefits would include extremely efficient path-finding and very fast object collision (sectors own the objects)
writing my first plugin, might as well give it to the community for free when its done. It might help some people.
Sounds cool, what is it for?
Its basically just a main menu adjusting plugin. Where you can set almost every aspect of the main menu via plugin parameters.
Nintendo... "Global Trade System" for Pokémon was great. Pokémon Trading on the Switch is garbage. Need GTS back, please!
Oh man, the memories of GTS. I remember I was so ecstatic when I found some Japanese guy who was offering a Groudon for a Lv 100 Pikachu. I used Action Replay, spammed a Pikachu with rare candies, and the Groudon was all mine. Good days lol. Sad to hear that Sword and Shield is mostly a disappointment.
Last I heard, "Home" comes out next March... which... not good enough. I'd like to be able to trade as I go, rather than use third party applications to set up actual trades.
This is bass ackwards.
I've heard a lot of people refer to this game as "One step forward, two steps back" and this doesn't surprise me. At least trading communities have been pretty nice in my experience.
Do you guys like multiple endings? Like good or bad ending? Or the 100% completion ¨true¨ ending?
It depends how well is it made. I really hate games, where in order to achieve the true ending you have to unlock every other ending. I also don't like it, when the games don't try to keep you engaged, like they keep 90% of the story identical except for 2 scenes that are character unique.
I also hate endings, where it's completely visible how to get to them, because it makes it so easy to reach them... And by the time you get there, you already know what's going to happen.
So far the true ending, which angered me the most, was the one of a VN called Love Ribbon. You essentially have to choose your selfish partner in front of your only chance to take an important exam. Otherwise you earn the ticket to a guilt trip, a breakup and a bad ending. I of course voluntarily took the bad ending just to see how far it goes.
