    In regards to that last line... I still have a difficult time grasping that idea. Especially when most galaxies have a super massive blackhole with an acretion disk at the center. Love me some astronomy talk, tho :)

    I'll try to explain without spoilers: the idea is that there are similarities on people and stars regarding death.
    When a star becomes a supernova it's so bright that outshines other stars.
    When a person dies, their loved ones are deeply affected.

    I always tell content creators to set up their community hubs and handle donations outside of youtube.
    I'm not subbed to anyone, and I have a strict no-ads block on everything.
    youtube was created to veer off from TV, and they're becoming exactly like TV.
    netflix is going the same way.
    why start an "alternative to" if you gonna end up being the same?

    The reason I say "actions are louder than words" so often is because it's a good filter to tell who are good people and who are bad people.

    Example: If in an office someone is ridiculing you for months suddenly tells in an official dinner how good you are, would you believe him/her?

    There's another saying: "Talk is cheap", which is also very true.

    External things we have no control over can too easily get in the way of a goal. I remember how hard it was for me when I became disabled and had to adjust to my new norm. It was hard not to just make a new purpose and move my self worth over to something new, and to just accept that this was my life now.

    If the butterfly effect is the person's mother (or insert loved one here, but if there is a mother in the picture she'll probably be the quickest to do so) filing a missing persons report and cops doing a full forensics audit on your vehicle when you return from an impromptu hiking trip then the answer is yes.

    I know you wanted it, but I'm glad. Having things moving around while you're trying to read the text of forum posts is just distracting and annoying :wink: The animated emojis are bad enough.
    I would personally be happy if images in signatures weren't allowed at all, but one makes do!

    @ATT_Turan Yeah, it's a shame that GIFs aren't possible, but at least I have a B plan just in case. I can understand why. I didn't plan for a crazy style with lights and colors, I intended to do some sort of soothing effect (I dunno how to explain it :stickytongue: )

    "Indie" and "corporate" are two ends of a spectrum. Art (films/theater/tv, games, music/poems, books, etc.) closer to the "indie" end of that spectrum are defined by smaller budgets, less marketing, being made and published by smaller companies. The line that seperates the "indie" half from the "corporate" half is contextual.

    Being offended is a state of mind, it is a choice. So long as you provide an overview of what is in your game, then players are pre-warned and make a choice wether or not to play.

    If they then play the game and choose to be offended that is on them, and clearly not by your intent.

    ... Writing dialogue like a script somehow never occurred to me before. I just visualize scenes instead, so this was pretty interesting.

    @RCXDan I like thinking I am better at writing dialogues than writing narratives. While I follow certain steps to create the script I'm not 100% orthodox in the methodology of the official process compared with the professional works like this one below:

    @JamieSabriel Yes it is! While I haven't seen it there was an anime adaptation since 2016 if I'm not mistaken, around the year where Re:Zero was the rage all over. I only played the visual novel (with all routes), the After Story EXTRA1 with Mashiro and that's it. I still have to see the CD Dramas.

    How can I thank an entire community with genuine sense of gratitude? I don't wanna say "thanks" and that's it. How do I do that?

    I've had an idea for one final one-shot fanfiction for old times' sake. It was basically a friendly and wholesome conversation with the topic of closure, two characters having one final and long conversation.

    However, five minutes later I remembered that these two characters already had that proper closure in the ending of the original work. Maybe with less words, but less is more after all.

    The idea was discarded.

Well. *That* was an entertaining fustercluck — and that’s not meant nearly as sarcastically as it sounds. I just had to make four different versions of the same conversation:
1: Attained MacGuffin.
2: Have not attained MacGuffin, but know its location.
3: Do not know MacGuffin’s location, but have a good idea where to find it.
4: Do not know where to look for MacGuffin.
