    Also, I'd rather have some exploration instead of none. That's what they did when they jumped from Mass Effect 1 to 2 and then to 3. They went "instead of improving exploration from 1, let's just remove it entirely and restrict players to Hallways for the rest of the franchise!". One of the reasons I like 1 more than 2 and 3... At least it wasn't a conscious decision to make a terrible game.

    Weapons in 1 depended more on how you spec'd the individual guns rather than the guns themselves, but one should never discount a red gun you find in a crate at the beginning of the game. Of course, once you start doing NG+, then yes, the loot became irrelavent. Thing is, the economies of all three games were broken. There was never enough money in 1 and 2, and in 1, once you got to about a third of the way in, there was too much. In 3, money was so plentiful as to be pointless. If y...

    In Mass Effect 1, the Spectre weapons were the best you could ever obtain (the early stuff as well as second playthrough stuff). Mass Effect 2 and 3 adopted this same formula of "there's one gun in each category that is the best, and we'll give it to you fairly early on so the rest of the loot in the game is worthless". Not how to do a loot system at all.

I'm so amazed at this ABS plugin for MV. This is a plugin that can literally fulfill my biggest game dreams, creating an Ultima VII-like game. Below is a video of a quick scenario I created to test out the plugin. The music in the video is my own composition.
