Personally I'm liking playing around in MZ. Though I should finish my ACE project before I get too serious in MZ.
Someone was being silly with the default MZ database. Mine has monster #5 listed as Hi_monster.
Twas the night before MZ and all through the forums, not a creature was stirring, not even a Harold.
How not to make a game: Give a boss an AOE skill that does more in damage than 2x your maximum HP.
And back. Trying to work online with no internet for 1.5 days was...interesting. I felt like a character in a old Sierra game trying to find internet due to all the hoops I had to jump through just to get online for work.
Currently without internet due to storm damage and most of our state is devastated. No idea how long I'll be unable to log onto here, but I'll answer questions as soon as I can.
Things I thought would never happen but just did: I needed to use my snow shovel. In August. In the Northern Hemisphere.
So I just spent the weekend...playing my own game. The one I released last year. Yep you heard that right.
Error brain.exe is not responding. Shutdown and run pillow.exe and bed.exe instead?
Its such a slow Sunday night, I've refreshed the forums page so often I'm waiting for the notification symbol to just say "What part of 0 don't you understand?"
Bought gas for the first time in three months. Had to stop and think where my gas cap was on my car, it had been that long.

Finally! I've been puzzling over why it wasn't working for two days now. Turns out all of my calculations were correct, I just forgot to give some events hitboxes.
Now my randomly generated maps check for collision errors, and move stuff around in real time if they finds any.
