Why some people spend a lot of money for tattoos and think that they make them look better? They don't. To not count the fact that they might change with age (to the worse).

@Matseb2611 Depends on if you get an inverted one or not. There are still cultures where the use of the original swastika is still used, as it is a symbol of peace and healing. The Nazi one is inverted and generally on an angle.

That moment when you find a "real" spider on your Gear VR and takes you a while to realize it's not part of the game you were playing.

Why I see that sort of Touch-Death thing in a lot of rm games? It can even work in horror games but I see it even in Rpgs.

What I mean is: If a specific enemy on the map touches you, then a sudden Game Over happens immediately after the hero is being touched. This is incredibly frustrating and screams bad design.

Haha!I think I'd have to vote Cedric as the world's most annoying owl known to man. And I truly love birds. But I sometimes wish you could grab him and throw him at your enemies as a projectile. And before they recovered, he could talk them to death.

Recently picked up a pack of Sierra point and clicks from Gog during their summer sale, and I must say...Space Quest is extremely unforgiving O_O One of these days I may survive for ten whole minutes. I got my hands on all the Quests for Glory as well. Looking forward to getting killed in them repeatedly!

@BananaThug Haha, well at least I have something good to look forward to: inevitable and constant doom :D

But I truly enjoy the older games like that. It reminds me of my childhood. Back then I was fascinated with just being able to make your character move from screen to screen. Nowadays games have become so advanced that games like King's Quest are considered outdated by some. But there's a charm to retro games that I cannot get enough of. I keep going back to them.

And believe me, I know how important it is to do things in the proper order in those games. One mistake and the time you spent playing your adventure could be thrown right in the trash can. When they programmed something a certain way, you either obeyed or faced the consequences!

This status is about Ralph. I always wondered about what people really think about the VX Hero. Because you know who is Ralph right? Especially if you used VX and you are currently using Ace. Can you see him as a protagonist in a game? Do you like his design? Let me know.

There's this dayum pub below my house that for years keeps making shows with extremely loud music and\or karaoke challenges from 8pm to midnight. What's worse though is that not only they have the permission to be loud till midnight, but they also do it during summer, so people are forced to keep their windows closed everytime. #rant over

I remember when I was a kid and started playing Pokemon Yellow for the first time.

If any of you were lucky to play it, the first GYM leader (Rock type) is quite a pain if you don't have a fighting type move. As a kid, I'd have probably lower the difficulty if I could so to beat him, but as we know, Pokemon has no difficult settings so I had to toughen up and train my Pokemon until I was able to beat it. I was so freaking happy and excited after winning my first medal. So glad Pokemon didn't let me change it to easy mode back then (or I'd have surely exploited it) :3

Years later, I played Pokemon on PC Emulator. I often used the speed hack and save hack. I know I should have controlled myself but having those options available really ruined it for me T.T

That's my personal experience with it. It's more enjoyable if I can't configure how the world works and have to find a way around "legally" (abiding to the world rules) so to speak.

Pokemon allowed you to capture and train other pokemons, though. You only needed to find and train the right one. Using a lightning or fighting type pokemon against something that's obviously strong/immune against such elements means you're introducing the challenge to yourself, in ny opinion. There's no need for an easy mode in such a game, in my opinion. :p

It depends largely on your audience. In this day and age, a lot of people who play games have very limited time on their hands. I personally don't want to spend hours being stuck on a single part of the game, because whenever I do have the time to play games, I want to enjoy my time and relax. As kids we had more free time to spend grinding or hitting against a brick wall. Don't have that luxury as adults (unless perhaps if you're unemployed and have no other commitments).

How will you react to someone that tries to insult you indirectly everytime they see you? I personally think this sort of behavior is triggered by jealousy, so I either ignore or try to give them a reason to be even more jealous, pissing them off even more.

I usually do it out of spite.  If I take the time to indirectly insult you... it's because you've done something to deserve it.  Otherwise, if I just don't like a person, I just don't talk to them.  Now, my indirect insults aren't to be taken the same way as my "playful ribbing" which sounds about the same...  Except there's a smile on my face for one of them... and there's not for the other.  Online, my playful ribbing is usually followed with "lol" or "ha ha" so people can kind of get the difference.

But, rest assured, if I do indirectly insult someone every time I see them...  I do it in such a way that the person being insulted cannot ignore it ~_^  I have years of practice.

Arguing with neighbors is not fun. Especially when they are nothing more than dirty pigs, taking care of their plants without being careful about not making drop all the soil and the leaves on the stairs of your house, and then you are forced to clean their mess and stay silent. I prefer to argue at this point.

@AwesomeCool All of my bad neighbours have been chavs. Their love of loud music which is pure bass (so loud it moves objects in your flat) is a common theme amongst them. It's so bad that it's got to the point where each time I see someone in a cap, trainers, and jogging bottoms, I assume the worst. The landlord wouldn't take action because she only cares about raking in the cash. You really do have to take matters into your own hands.

For the most part I've been able to stay on the good side of my neighbors. The only see me when I head out to the store or I'm coming home from work and the only thing they know about me is that I listen to rock music. I live in the ghetto so it's just crime central around here. Shootouts, muggings and break ins are almost daily and the police only come out here if someone was injured or to arrest someone. The kids are the worst because they destroy property and harass people, but as soon as you try to step up or give them a taste of your own medicine, your seen as the bad guy because your an adult and they get off scot free.

Jackie Chan is great. Especially his earlier stuff before he got big in America. Rumble in the Bronx was cool because it still had the same basic tone to the films he did in his country.

@Dalph™: Yeah, I've seen Blade Runner, though I don't consider myself a big fan. I thought it was too slow-paced for me personally, though it did have some interesting sci-fi concepts.

All right, I'll try to list some of my favourites that I remember, though I'll probably forget many...

Sci-fi: Inception, Terminator series, Minority Report, The Island, Avatar, Tron: Legacy, Star Wars films.

Sword & Sandal: Troy, Gladiator, 300, Kingdom of Heaven, Clash of the Titans (remake), Prince of Persia.

Thrillers/Horror: The Thing (both the 1982 one and the modern remake), Saw 1 and 2 (the others are ok too, though not as good), 28 Days Later, Cube and Cube Zero, Nightmare on Elm Street.

Heroic: X-men series (all of them), The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Punisher (2004 version).

Comedy: Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Idiocracy, The Hangover.

Beat em up: Mortal Kombat, The Raid 1 and 2, most Jackie Chan stuff.

Action: Can't go wrong with most of Arnold Schwarzenegger's stuff.

Animated: FFVII: Advent Children, Wall-E, Ice Age series.

Favourite TV shows: Black Sails, The 100, Continuum, Dark Matter, 12 Monkeys, Arrow, Gotham, Flash, Daredevil, Dominion, Spartacus, Humans, House of Cards, Marco Polo.

Now it's been 3 days and I didn't get anything yet (I don't know what to buy honestly), I guess having over 700 games in my Library makes me even more undecided.

@Dalph™ Hahahaha. That game would be confusing enough as it is, but imagine it with multiplayer capabilities. There'd be so many screens for every other screen in play.

I'm currently playing Video Game: The Video Game. Ironically it isn't a video game. You play it on the sidewalk. O_O

Basically Valve will pay me to buy these games? But when I try to "buy" them on their own pages the buy button disappears? rofl what? Good trolling.

So it pays you 126% for buying it.  I guess the EU situation did it.

On a totally different note now, Limbo is free for 24 hours on Steam (it's a good game):

Sonic 4 episodes 1 and 2 are pretty good games. Don't know why they got mixed opinions. I thought they were a nice nostalgic trip back to the good old days of the early 2D Sonic games.

It's been almost one week that I find the drawers of a small cabinet in my house opening by themselves (always in the morning), I don't believe in ghosts but this is so weird and I cannot explain it.

No, my cat cannot open them.

      Yes, the floor is straight.

      Yes, the cabinet is empty.

No, I didn't move anything in the room nor touch that cabinet recently.

Ghosts often get frustrated when you do things that prevent them from re-opening the drawers. That's how you get rid of a supernatural being: you annoy it. If they open something, glue it shut. If they break something of yours, then break something that belongs to them. It also does not hurt to have a spare proton pack laying around the house.

But I'd simply fasten your cupboard drawers shut every night. Use anything. Nails, screws, nails, or even poster putty. Also

Yeah, I love that movie too. I've been watching it pretty much every year since I was a little guy.

Now, more than ever, it is important to remember the true meaning of Christmas! Your life may just depend upon it...

(His tv ad at the beginning is the best version of Scrooge I have never seen. I wish we could see Frank's version of Christmas) :D
