Oh well today is the last IGMC day and so the final push. Good luck to everyone! I saw a lot of awesome entries and I'm looking forward to play them all.

So my cousin is pregnant and soon she will have a nice daughter apparently. She asked me to help her to find a nice name for the little one but I'm absolutely horrible with names, suggestions are more than welcome guys. Thanks in advance. PS: We're italian but we like foreign names too~ :D

Perhaps I should suggest her some RTP character names, like: Ulrika, Natalie or Brenda, buahahahah. Angela is nice though.

Nice one, reminds me about a female wolf or a tribal warrior.

I just realized that not a lot of people bother about changing the default RTP animations in their game, how so? The animation editor has a lot of potential.

I was singing "I am a rock" and "The sound of silence" this morning. Generally anytime I sing it's folk music because that's about the only music I can sing without everybody begging me to be quiet.

I swear, sometimes finding a good title for your game is even harder than finishing the game itself. I'm at more than 30% of completion and I still have no idea about the title.

I think the title should covey part of the experience of the game. Look at the last word from IGMC last year the title is clearly about the key plot point in the game as well as the focus of the battles. So what's your game about and how can you say that in a few words for your title. A title doesn't have to be a synonym for final fantasy to be cool.

Funny how almost every videogame villain out there reveals all the plot and his\her real intentions before or after the final battle, that's annoying and clichè. I hate when a game does that.

No problem! Yeah, I had just come across it. My brother and I were having this exact same conversation regarding villains not two days ago. We just finished watching a cheesy 80's Kung Fu flick and guess what the evil guy did at the end? He didn't give an ice skating lesson, that's for sure.

I recently realized that using placeholders when you work on your game helps a lot, in this way you'll focus on finishing the game itself first, instead of wasting time searching\adding custom stuff. Only when the game will be finished you'll finally add the resources, wasting time at prettifying things from the beginning will never make you get anything done.

Dalph, I did the same thing in my project. I put in an RTP placeholder for the sprite/face/music, and order the real one from an artist once I can afford it. Got about half my art and sprites, and 75% of my music now, with the game about 50% done too.
