It's going pretty well. I had to stop for the longest time to work with college, but it'll resume it's usual development soon.
Well unfortunately I have to take a temporary hiatus while college starts up. I haven't been able to get any work done on my project since I'm too busy packing stuff up and getting ready to move. Darn it all ._.
I find that I get distracted really easily when I'm working on my project. I don't know if it's my ADHD or something, but my mind seems to wander a lot whenever I'm working on anything. It's a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, many of my best ideas come to me when I let my mind wander, but when it comes to implement them I have a hard time focusing on the task at hand.
I'm same too. Once my teacher said stop wandering to me in past, because my wandering conitinue whenever I'm studying or even do something. But several years later, it gives me the best ideas like you. Think of my life earnestly or game ideas or happy imagination.

Yes, it's true wandering is both bless and curse. In my experience, making a good schedule and each today's goal is the best effective thing to reduce wandering's side effects. Good luck to your work or study!
Game dev and ADD/ADHD are a tough combo. One thing I find is to make a list with small, easy-to-finish tasks on it and work through it. An example list might be:

    - Change sprite's hair color

    - Add more plants to map 10

    - Add some tiles to a tilesheet.

It really helps to break it down into such small chunks that I can usually focus on and it feels productive crossing things off the list, thus making me want to do it more.
Thank you, @mlogan I'll need to try doing this and see if it'll help. :)

Don't you hate when you're trying to sleep and suddenly the smoke detector needs batteries? That's exactly what happened to me. Now I'm sluggish and tired after that darn thing started chirping at 11:30 at night. Man I wish I had one of those smart smoke detectors that sends a message to your phone way before it starts chirping.

I can hardly believe it is the third day of Christmas and I have yet to put up decorations! Spending my morning cooking breakfast and getting them up.
