• Did You know states with Turn duration have a set period outside of battle?
Just discovered this Myself, it is something I am focusing on now to determine
exactitude. will post findings.

Yes, but I'm not sure what the point would be unless you have something like a common event or parallel process watching for states and doing HP/MP damage +/- regen out of battle and while not moving (deal/heal damage, wait command for 15 frames, repeat... would make a 4 tick/sec effect that would go while even standing still until you either cure the effect or walk far enough)

Currently working on the Combat stealth system in Combat: Toybox.
but a Formula stands in My way. I will solve this one way or the other.
there is too much dependent on this mechanic, namely the over all strategy of a particular Faction.

So you are using an addative formula, interesting.
Find Myself hopping over the prospect of TheoAllen's Limited Inventory, now none can say I used Hyperspace Arsenal in My games and Galv's Item storage is actually relevant!
Looking over some old projects, good ancestors! I did a lot of unnecessary switches before I learned to use Variables, still some appear to be worth a renovate.

The simpler ones have potential.
I just realized two of My series are beginning to look virtually identical to one another in mechanics and general themes, I never had this problem before.

This is Stifling! Must resolve this!
Located many of My old resources, however it appears I do not have confirmed permissions on them, I may have had permission but was never documented.

Creation will have to wait until this is resolved.
With the help Roninator2 and Shaz, a important piece of future projects (or rather the revival of old ones) has made progress.
My Projects are in shambles, My coding knowledge has faded to Beginner levels, My physical notes are scattered and My Project Folders are buried within a terabyte external hard drive that has but 24 gigabytes of space remaining with everything in different sections of a Data Maze I have irresponsibly created.

After an agonizing 8 months, I have returned. I suppose it should be no surprise to those Who understand creation is just as addicting as anything can be.
As of 5:58pm today, I am postponing development of My projects until further notice, Money has dried up, script conflicts and various other difficulties mean my attempts at Indie dev career is taking back seat I know I promised games and I apologize, this is only a delay but I don't know for certain how long.

i udnerstand everyones journey is different and hope all the best but don't let these hiccups, keep you away too long. the best thing about game deving, especially rpg maker game deving is, when you hit a brick wall in one or two areas, you can work on another portion of the game until your mentally clear to step back into your previous issue,

i.e - if scripts and money are the issues right now, i would work on setting up your items and balancing the battle system, both are very time consuming, important and (for the most part) free obstacles to tackle to keep a pulse in your project! best of luck.
Before I am done with even one game, I am going to need Psychiatric assistance after doing all these sprites!
Still I am improving, Spriting not mental fortitude.
Must... Find... more... Gameplay.... Elements... got to... increase Replay ability!

@ImaginaryVillain: that is where I must rebuke You, I have seen multiple titles that have replayablity, however I suppose it would seem odd as to why someone would focus on Replayability, that maybe all I have aside from Story and game mechanics.

If you're worried about your game looking poor, you could always make it look more pixelated/simple or buy (or use default) resources. If you feel your game is lacking, you can always embellish existing features that could use some love, but remember sometimes less is more. What's important is having a draw and building on that.
I feel as though the Rock for which I have called home for sometime now has insulated Me from newer developments... We have a MZ now.

Oh it's got a Steam page says it will be out this Summer. I'm just poking fun at the awful marketing campaign they went with of giving us just a name... Then telling us all the stuff that MV already had but is also in MZ.... And finally giving us a super short video in the wrong language.

Yes, and it requires Win 8 and above, not going to be mine anytime soon, I am afraid.
I have recently discovered a Limit breaker for RPGmaker VXA, needless to say this changes everything.also I really like the changes this website has made.
I have just increased the Infantry and Vehicle rosters, also a new base building system is now in play.
After reviewing two videos of armymen getting blowup by Firecrackers I have determined the grenades in the series are wholly unrealistic...

that said I am reworking the Infantry in game.
Wait for it... Something is not right! My variables are all disorganized, I see now I will have to do some sorting!
I have come to the conclusion that the current map lay out of, well, ALL of My games is lackluster.

I am also Retrying the 'Turn based Map Movement' idea, My apologies to it's opposition but this is something I wanted to do since the very beginning of My development career and that is no exaggeration, fear not, I sincerely believe it won't be as slow as it sounds and will ultimately contribute to the gameplay.
