I'm still struggling with all kinds of resolutions in general though...

I don't think 640x480 is recommended anymore. I think everything is widescreen now. Which resolution depends a lot on what game you're making, what your audience is, ect. See if you can find the earlier discussions we've had on the subject here. I think a search for recommended resolutions or screen resolutions will come up with something.

@Sharm depends on what you use. For ACE it's about the only one you can use well, and I found it upscales to fullscreen to 16:9 pretty nicely in testing.

Some people just can't take criticism of any sorts. We see it ALL the time.

It was more of a "Oh, I forgot this existed, not continuing it so I'm gonna delete". I actually just praised it :'D
