That trilogy is superb.  Best free games I ever played.  Very old school/hard core difficulty now, but at the time it didn't seem so much.

Hmm, just wondering - I lost my copy of LP2 when transferring files to a new computer.  Do you happen to have that one?

found out i could have purchased mv for considerable less amount if i had purchased it from steam for my country instead of paying in $

At least if you buy it here, you can also activate it on steam using the same key. If that's any consolation for you. :)

I just like watching other people struggle like me so I feel better about myself.

I've spent a lot of time reading questions over the years, doing the same or just seeing what others answer. Even if it doesn't seem relative to your own needs at the time, it will be later.
Another rpg engine coming in 2 days 'smilegamebuilder'.  Looks nice in 3d, and it also hails from Japan

It's two days shy of the release. I doubt something that substantial is changing.

There doesn't appear to be any way to customize how anything looks/functions. Unless you do a lot of bending over backwards, this is essentially RPG Maker 2000 but in 3D. It's not a bad thing, mind you. I'd still pick it up if it were reasonably priced and if I could make stuff in 3D for myself.

Locking this as it's discussing a non-Degica engine.
learning learning learning.... and still learning, not anywhere near starting an actual project yet, adding all types of scripts and seeing which all work together..collecting all kind of free tilesets/charset/sprites,making note of people to credit in case i use them, Whoa lot of work :rwink:  not beaten yet :guffaw:
I went through crowd funding sites like kickstarter and indiegogo and there are some interesting 2d RPG games and people supporting it. Feeling happy that people still like 2d RPG games and are willing to fund Indie devlopers. :rhappy:

Same here! I'm just not sure how I feel about crowdfunding anymore. It's more "the preorder platform" than the "try to get a good idea going" platform...
I wish that  I could connect 2 wires to my head and connect them to computer and design things with imagination like I see in my head.

He has supposedly made preparations for his death 24 years ago, and he has outlived his 10 children and 4 wives. That's insane.

I bet we will all be able to have our lives artificially extended within a matter of decades. living 2 times as long as average life span would be weird, if you were to reach average life expectancy, then outlive babies that are born around the same time and live to the average LE of their peers.

Well, to be fair, we already do. It wasn't all that long ago, historically speaking, that we weren't living much past 40.

After an entire year, finally made new story cutscenes. Ones that take place after the current last boss. Praise be.
That moment when you're getting a new update ready, deploy it for the final round of testing (gotta make sure the deployed version runs, ya know?) andddddd there's a visual blip :ysrs: Doesn't impact gameplay. It's only on-screen for a few seconds. But you can't leave it there.
So now you have to fix it, then redeploy, then retest. Why do I do this to myself.
So I'm reading a sci-fi book called Berserker Man. Now, the 'Berserker Man' isn't a man or a Berserker. He is actually a very calm 11 year-old-boy. So misleading title. He was recruited to fight these emotionless killing machines called Berserkers. Also confusing. I will read it until it starts making sense.
A few tweaks and changes, now the load screen is literally loading :kaoswt:

I tried a new thing.
