        I would very much disagree. IPC boost brings it to the same level as intel for single thread, and for multi-threading applications it completely annihilates intel. Might not be worth the upgrade if you have a CPU from either company that came out in the last 2 years, but for people upgrading the choice is a no-brainer (especially for content creation).

        Intel needs to get their CPUs curb stomped before they will stop price-gouging consumers. The 3rd-gen Ryzen is a step in that direction.
