  • I checked out Genshin Impact gameplay out of curiosity. I can't believe it's available as a mobile game too. Smooth animation, great music, and stellar sound effects (the ambient sounds are pretty detailed).

I'm flabbergasted to see games have becoming more and more advanced. Maybe also because I'm oblivious to current trend for a long time, it almost feel like I'm being sent into distant future. xD

It's not "available on mobile too", it IS a mobile game originally.
Gacha summon system, energy system, an empty open world full with dead space, all mobile game "features". :D
Ohh, and it's around 95% single player game, but you have to be online all the time, also a mobile game "feature".

I've seen Honkai Impact 2 years ago, but my phone can't handle that. xD
I only play Asobimo games. Toram, Avabel, and Alchemia Story.
I've reached level 120+ in Toram, but there's a global data corruption and my
character got deleted. It upsets me to no end and I uninstalled it. xD

Well, that makes it even more surprising. :o
The sound quality is just not normal for a mobile game
(I'll go as far as saying that the sound is better than most PS2 games).
That feel when you're awake past midnight and suddenly you're one year older :ninja:

Lately when I listen to 1970s songs, I always think that the "real world" is still at mid 70s. What we experience now is a futuristic dream. With this point of view, even 80s and 90s looks super futuristic. :D

I had to look up Pharrell Williams, and figure out what song you were talking about. At least it was easy when I saw the names of his songs. :LZSwink:

I always find this smiley :) a bit odd.
It can be seen as a sad smile, hesitant smile, holding a laughter, or smile with hidden intention (a.k.a "ohoo you're gonna be screwed" smile).

    That's why I prefer this one :D

Listening to 80s fusion music always put me into big smile, even before the reemergence of 80s music recently. :D

I think Korean music have a lot of hidden gems, beyond boyband and girlband
(I do love some boyband and girlband music, but it's a bit rare).

This one is pretty much Korean Plastic Love.
    I like it. :D

The singer of this one is actually from Tokyo. So its kind of both Japanese and Korean.

Trying to use an edited Wasteland battleback 2

I agree. Looks like the warm color is actually coming from GUIs and battlers. I'm gonna edit that too.

Oh nooo the poor slimes are gonna freeze! Haha.

    .....

The back ground looks awesome. It makes your character popout given how high contrast his colors are.

The battlers on the other hand kinda blend in but a simple color adjust should fix this.
When you want to share your creation, but keep holding back because you want to share it in the best possible way... Sometimes it feels like holding your poop. Uncomfortable, but it keeps the passion burning.

*It's a bad analogy, but it's kinda true*
I think I'm gonna be addicted to this music for quite some times. What an absolute banger. xD

I think the idea of "liminal space" can be great inspiration if you want to create a game with unsettling horror vibe.
    Check it out. :D

Always an interesting subject. Personally I think part of why liminal spaces work the way they do is it taps into a very human fear in a very instinctual level - the fear of being abandoned.
But thats Just my opinion xD

@Finnuval For me the uneasiness comes from the nostalgic element to it. Nostalgia is something we hold dear and cherish. It's a safe place to retreat when we just want to remember some joyful past moments. But when it's twisted into something else, the horror kicks in. :D
Mind: "I have cool ideas! Let's make it real!

I did a bit of a remake on one of the maps, also I made a particle for jumping into the portal, and one for traveling through the portal. I'll probably add more sparkles later to embellish it. :LZSwink:
Polished the animation and added details :kaojoy:

What do you think about the Wood Bridge inside of Volcano?
Yet another gaming question, i'm currently playing Last of Us 2 and want to get another game to play next but can't decide between Ghost of Tsushima, Miles Morales & Jedi Fallen Order. After the latest mandalorian i AM on a star wars kick, but i also LOVED the last spiderman game that prequels Miles Morales. Ghost of Tsushima is the bottom of my list but i heard it was AWESOME. Just want a good story & fun gameplay.
