I...don't like it when someone says a game is easy...as long as they grind. Sounds like it takes cognitive dissonance for that line of reasoning to work.
I just want it on the record: single-time encounters with rare once-in-a-lifetime drops are a terrible design choice. Don't encourage your players to save-scum their way through the game.
God, I'm behind on my drinking. I'm buzzed on just one margarita. I'm half-inclined to record a Let's Play of my KOTOR run, but I'd have to actually set everything up.
I don't think I can handle using the real SNES resolution of 512x448 because resizing absolutely every interface element I had on hand by painstaking trial & error/guess and check (is there any other way?) is KILLING me.
