Bought VX awhile back and have been toying around with it since. I have alot of experience designing tabletop games for roleplaying. Games like Pathfinder, DnD and Savage Worlds. Mostly for Fantasy Grounds, a virtual tabletop. I do everything from design the map in gimp, to write the dialogue and plot. I also write short stories and novels, and am active in a writing critique community. I have little scripting knowledge, but I am taking a basic programming course online at the moment.
I am a thirty year old father of two, currently living in BC. As a stay at home dad, I get a lot of time to follow my passions. Making games has always been a passion. I play a great deal of games and prefer rpgs above all others. Although I enjoy many types.
I am hoping to build a core group of friends to make a game with, being completely new to RPGMaker I would like a group to hang out with on a weekly basis to learn and work on game making skills. Coordinate tutorials, share resources, and offer advise. Like a study group. We can chat in teamspeak, steam, google hangouts, or discord. Anyone interested shoot me a pm. This isn't for a project, its for a hangout group.
