I have a feeling that once I release my plugin and people start using it, they'll start running into "I wish it did this too" situations and I'll get more ideas that way. Devs are probably more used to bending the the system to make something different than they are rewriting it.

Well, if you want more ideas, I'd like to see a system that allows objects on the battlefield that aren't enemies or actors that can still be targeted by skills. These objects might react differently, like producing an entirely different skill effect (example: explosive barrels).

That's a great idea for when I develop a new battle system. That's not what my plugin is doing, though. It's more focused on how you learn, prepare and use skills, not what the skills do or how the battle system functions. Those will be in later plugins.

The one that I accepted your challenge for. Granted, I was already working on and heavily committed to it before accepting said challenge but hey, at least it'll get here faster.

In a general sense, my goal is to make classes feel different from one another by giving the dev a toolbox of mechanics to play with beyond "Skills acquired at specific levels that use MP".

I remember that game, the falling fight with the ship was as far as I got, so that scene where they all die from the fall and it cackles is especially funny to me.

The consequence was that if the rep was very low (example at 5) certain NPCs wouldn't talk to you, stores would be more expensive +20%, some characters (with good alignment) would leave the party.

There were similar consequences to having a very high good rep.

Lots of this can be coded with switches (it just takes longer ) I'm not sure if a plugin would help even^^

Stardew Valley, from what I understand, tracks what each NPC thinks of you personally. What you describe can actually be done right now with my Talent Core plugin. One of the things I had in mind when I developed it was the Virtue system that Ultima 4+ had. There were 8 virtues that could rise or fall based on your actions. So I pretty much already made this sort of thing.

Oh man, makes me weary if I should use the included Windows 10 installation USB that came with my new computer... I don't even know if the computer is already on it or not since my HDMI-DVI cord hasn't arrived yet.

@Olra Even when I had 1.5.1 installed, Windows Defender still kept flagging it. I white-listed it but updating to 1.6.1 must not be recognized as the same application. It was fine for a while...
