    Who thought that making a VN in a program that uses spaghetti code could be so fun! Well...its so far...Ive started working on a project that I kinda left a few months ago. Its nice coming back to things that remind you of the past. But I guess it'll become pretty frustrating in a couple of days lol.

    @gstv87 Actually the relevant term is 'climate change' which would easily encompass unseasonally cold weather.

    Hmm I was thinking of buying RPG Maker VX Ace since its on sale, but ultimately I decided not to. I already have 2 makers I didnt release anything with. And VXA is pretty bad, since theres no full screen option nor sound settings (unless you get a plugin). So, um, heres my advice, dont spend money on makers you wont use anyways and work with what you've got.

    I own all makers, not to make games with them, but to be able to use their default resources as well as any edits to those resources that have been shared freely through the years.

    Personally I don't want to bother trying to upscale and edit all that stuff to work with a newer engine, so I would never buy one. Many people do it for the exact reason @slimmmeiske2 was describing tho, which is completely valid. RTP assets are vast and for the price of an engine on sale it's an absolute steal.

    I also bought VXA when it was on sale, for the same reason as @slimmmeiske2 — I wanted its resources. Specifically, I wanted its soundtrack, since the one that comes with MV is, in more ways than one, lacking. (Being able to help out a friend who was using VXA for a game was a bonus.)

    Went to see Jujutsu Kaisen 0 yesterday, it was cool. The movie wasnt really a masterpiece, it had some pacing and characterization problems, but overall I enjoyed it, maybe because it was the first anime film I have ever been to in the cinema lol. The battle animation & music were top-notch. I havent seen much of the anime so people who watched the entire season would probably like it more.

    "You've been taught the ways of kinghood since young age..." is this a correct sentence? Basically, I want to say that a character's been taught how to be a king since they were a child.

    Kes nailed it. I would personally suggest "You've been taught how to rule," as both kinghood and kingship are kind of uncommon/anachronistic words. Neither of them are wrong, but it reads a little oddly.

    Not sure about tumblr now, but you are right about how it used to be, I used to play a game with my friends. Type in ANYTHING in tumbler's search and see if any nsfw stuff came up, it always did somehow xD Rule 34 indeed...

    I've started making a presentation two months ago and today [or rather tomorrow] I'm finishing it...why do I have to complete every big project on last minute...I kinda wanted to do it yesterday and today afternoon but I had too much work T-T I guess I'll just watch anime and go to sleep

    Shonen anime timeline: MC proves himself despite being 'weak' > Gets a sensei/father figure > Meets his (new) friends > Fights few strong opponents a few times and proves himself yet again > Oh no a dangerous dude attacks! The sensei is either preocuppied, away or dead at this point > The MC reveals his super cool hidden powers or wins through sheer will but then faints > A supernatural organisation gets introduced

    Did you know you can set a starting position by right-clicking on a specific tile in map editor? Did you know that something actually happens when you right-click on a specific tile? Because, during my 1,5 years of using RPGMMV, I didnt.

    It wasnt because of coffee, but...I drank 400ml of coffe today in order to keep awake, the first one was cappucino [I thought it didnt have that much coffee, mistook it with latte] and the second one just 'coffee with milk'. My hands are still shaking, I feel sick [also from sitting next to a heater in 4-layer clothing] and my anxiety was raging...I-I guess I'll stick to sheer will next time I'm tired.

Working on mapping using RPGTools to create parallax maps using PVgames tiles/assets. It's super cool... but mapping is still something I drag my feet on getting done. I hate this but love the math parts of design, which is the opposite of a lot of dev's around, I think. It really do be different strokes for different folks.
