      A happy little side effect of my gather system means you can pick up items in close proximity without moving:

      Gathering spot particles and icon popups~

      Now all that remains is the item info popup window when you get up close to the spots, and also picking them up persistently.

        Yeah, I lay it on top of Scene_Map and pause input handling for that scene, but I might pause it too later on. The windows are all managed by a "controller" that's a bit like a scene but can be used in conjunction with multiple scenes instead as a logic layer on top.

      Did you know that you can use images at patterns instead of a textColor? https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73268/rmmv/pattern-textColor.PNG

      bitmap.textColor = bitmap._context.createPattern(ImageManager.loadSystem('patterns/dots').baseTexture.source, 'repeat');

        Remember you can use patterns for fillRect calls on a bitmap's context, too :)  If you look in the picture above, everything except the icon and text is drawn using fillType and fillRect calls dynamically, and the background of the window is a pattern.

      More polish; numbers bump down if currency decreases, up if increases, and gold icon (courtesy of Avery) also blinks appropriately. Also delimiters!

        Any vector path can be used. This was a path made in Inkscape:

        Just to demonstrate that it can be any kind of path:

        Which was made in an online editor like this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73268/spoopysource.PNG

        Currently importing it requires some manual copypasting of text data, but at least I can make a lot of default paths in the plugin to make it easy for most :D

        Animations are still beeing played in slow-motion on Android but only during battles. I've optimized my PNGs too. See private message for more infos on my tests results.

        On PC and Mac it seems to have helped a lot on low end computers.

        The animations in battles problem is because I haven't added parsing of the resources there, so they get loaded on demand :)  I'll let you know once that's done.

        I'm not sure actually. For now MV is my focus mainly because The Vendor is being made in it. After game is finished, I have what I feel is unfinished business with Ace~

      Try something in a new project after you update MV to the new version: Make a new project > Make a 30x30 map > Fill with tiles > Playtest and move so the screen scrolls.

      If you look at the tiles, do they look odd when they scroll? As in slightly compressed or pixelated oddly? You might have to try with a few different tiles. I'm seeing this bug on Windows 10 at least, but would like confirmation from others.

        Labyrinthine: It's very different, but it's also a completely new game. It's hard to compare them; this is much more open-ended and sandbox-y in its approach, but the story so far has been very good and intriguing.

        Is the combat any different from the original Xenoblade? I didn't like the battle system in that one so I never got past the first ten minutes. .__.;;
