My children got me back into Minecraft in January after years of not playing, and oh my gosh, it is completely different from when I use to play. So much more enjoyable! And the monsters! The Blazes are adorable! I want to make one for RPG Maker they're so cute.
Been making a list of sprites I want to do this year and it is filling up pretty fast. I want to make more animal sprites, like dogs and cats, a cheetah, zebra and other monster types, like large Teacup, giant eagles, drakes...finish older projects like Bone Golem, animations, Transformers....goodness. Not sure if I have enough time.
My children completely derailed me last month when they got heavy into playing Minecraft. Now I've been finding myself playing it again, looking up tutorials for better building construction, and now I'm redesigning my middle sons' bedroom completely Minecraft themed. XD
(Sigh) Hubby and I are gamers. Hubby has been questioning why we even bother with Christmas or bdays for our boys (5&4yrs) when they play video games all the time. I'm starting to wonder too when they ignore their toys... I feel raising kids is so different when I was growing up. Maybe that's just me?
For anyone curious why I haven't been updating my resources thread, it's because I reached the max limit for the site to host images. I wasn't aware that was a thing and have been debating for over a week now on whether I should break the thread into three separate ones: Transformers inspired, Hine Sprite inspired and the RTP inspired.
Our elder family dog died suddenly last night. I realized almost too late the warning signs: stopped eating for two days (I thought she didn't like the food). When her back legs gave out the situation hit me. It's bittersweet. She had health problems her whole life so I am glad she isn't suffering anymore.
Been doing a bit of research and found out there are approx. 14 dragon types. I thought the Lindwurm from northern countries was interesting. And Quilin from Eastern mythology. Anybody have a favorite?
