I've seen a few over the years - One that consumes/removes positive status effects from the target, doing progressively more damage with each one...
Some of my favorites have been: Shatter (removes reflect status, and deals much magic damage), and one that always critical hits if the foe is blind.
As a concept, I mean. Feel free to cite examples where they have and have not worked.
Opinions: Skills that exploit status effects to do more damage/effects. What do you guys think?

There's always inconvenience - game over can be a minor issue in comparison to having to walk, or navigate an obstacle course.
Painkillers, Cold Medication, Antivenom, Muscle Relaxant, Caffeine. Just go by the slang term for the medicine, if need be! :)
