    I found that I should implement diagonal movements in my project. I found your movement script first. Hudell, the game I am making is obviously meant to be sold. I would happily write your name belonging in my credits. However, I just don't know if there is any other requirements to this. Please let me know as soon as possible.

    Please do not use Status Updates to ask Support questions, that is not their purpose. If you read the opening post in the thread where you got that plugin, you will find all the Terms of Service.

    Any requirements to use the script would normally be on the page where you obtained it, or in the script header itself. This is not the sort of thing you usually have to contact the authors for.
    Due to too many people tracking me down on social networks asking for support, I've disabled the download link of all of my plugins.

    Sorry to hear that you had to disable them. It's amazing how far people will go to track down someone to ask a question, especially when less effort put into a Google search would have yielded the answer.

    problem with a game like mine is that there's no room for shallow npcs; Sometimes I just want to use a quirky idea.

    When you say NO shallow NPCs I hope you don't mean EVERY NPC because you'll burn yerself out if you need every villager to have elaborate personalities.

    That's why games like Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley stick to just one town. It's already hard enough to populate one with NPCs that aren't just walking dolls...

    Exactly - it can be tempting to make everyone fleshed out, but unless yer cast is limited in scope you'll both burn yerself out and confuse yer audience (after all, if everyone is super fleshed out... who is supposed to be important?).
    Spent a lot of money to skip two weeks of bureaucracy in getting some documents, then the person that needed them took a 2 week vacation

    I get why you might feel that way. It almost feels manipulative, but I think it only feels that one because when you hear it spoken to you you probably feel compelled to acquiesce because, come on.... they said please... and very nicely.

    Yeah, some logic might seem like it's there, but follow that train of though and this will be a conversation about how being kind is being rude. Manners help us bridge the multi-billion count gaps between ourselves and those we don't really know.

    Just yesterday I got an email from Adobe saying my status on the forum has changed because of my participation. I think I only posted on the Adobe forums once, and that was probably about 5 years ago! Email looked legit enough, but it was weird enough that I wasn't game to click anything.

    Hey, I know you stopped creating plugins, but I just wanted to ask if you have any idea why would orangehudlinegroup hurts performance so much? Entering the menu and exiting it, most of the times fixes it. Reentering the map has no effect when it happens. Thanks :)

    Probably the script that checks if the value changed is being executed too much.

    Did a detailed estimate of how long it will take me to finish my game, feature by feature. Realized 50% of it now is writing dialogue.

    And that's not event counting all the dialogue on quests and cutscenes that are still pending. It'll literally be several months of nothing but writing if I don't mix things up.

    Yeah, writing dialogue takes a lot of time. After 8 months, I'm finally done with all the daily npc's dialouges. It's not even the dialogue for the whole game yet either.
    Did you know? The 2nd, 3rd and 4th tiles on your A list are rendered on a separate layer from the rest of the A tiles

    The right side of the A2 tileset is also rendered on this extra layer, but those 3 specific tiles from A1 automatically render the very first tile behind them
    Happy that there'll be a Friends of Mineral Town remake, but so disappointed at the art style they used for it

Made a surprising amount of progress in these past two days. Really helps when parallax mapping breaks limitation and allowing me to be creative and make maps that match my vision.
Let's promote our amazing artists in RPG Maker community! I posted right now about my game Phil Alone on Twitter and I decided to thanks Lime Zu, the amazing artist that did all the pixel assets for my game!
I just realised that the reason behind me not being able to make a game may be the lack of my original resources. I just dont like the look of MV faces and sprites, lol. Guess I will have make my own art.
I'm posting a commission art soon! :kaoswt2:
