    Imagine I manufactured rivets for a living. If you came into my house and took all my rivets and used them to build a ship without paying me, that'd be a dick move right?

    Replace the word "rivet" with "art" and "ship" with "horrible knockoff art with eight fingers on each hand" and apparently that is suddenly acceptable.

    Just showing up to say I absolutely detest the idea of AI generated "art". I do hope they make some laws that force people to disclaim the use of AI generated content so I can avoid it like the plague it is.

    The animation is perfect and beautiful. The character personalities and some of the voice acting is questionable however. I love Jack Black as Bowser. But Mario is off. He seems like too much of a bumbling idiot. I'll definitely be seeing it though.

    Implemented Mode 7 when you leave the first province and get out into the Wide World to try and sell the scale of the adventure and signify the change in scope to the story being told. What's your thoughts?

    It's a good perspective and it is enough. Don't be like many people who use mode 7 with an extreme view perspective. Idk about other people, but I never like lower/extreme perspectives in mode 7/pseudo 3D.

    To be honest, an open world or at least a world open to explore is still my fave genre despite many fk up. I don't want it to die just because people said they are sick of open-world games.

    Sonic isn't really open, it has progression and an invisible wall. You can't go somewhere without completing some task first.

    @TheoAllen I'm in both camps. I've yet to find a game that really does why I want to play open world games, but the fact is I want to play open world games. I call Skyrim a bad game and then turn around and play it for 16 hours straight. What I want isn't less open world games, but for companies to put in the effort required to make a game work in open world.

    Im a bit hopeful, but yes theres a ton of bugs and some features really do make me wonder, if despite saying they know better that behind closed doors they did listen to some stuff,. but there is stuff that gets the old fun gameplay right, like spark (been replaying the dlc every few nights not gonna lie) so Id be sad, but not destroyed.

    Very disappointed that Sonic Frontiers is as terrible as it is.

    Weirdly more disappointed that people seem to be either lying to or deluding themselves regarding the quality of the game as a whole. The progression loop alone puts it at 1/10

    Personally; no interest in playing it. Sonic Adventure 2 is where I started enjoying and stopped enjoying sonic games. However, not sure about you, but most of the reviewers I've watched have shared a similar opinion: A good game that is deeply flawed, especially in level design.

    I don't play Sonic Frontier because I have better games to play with, but from what I've gathered, they could get away with this because most other Sonic games were terrible. So, it might be for that audience.

    God of War: Ragnarok, if you've played GoW 2018 already, Elden Ring, and Final Fantasy VII Remake since the PS5 version has the Intergrade DLC. I'll also throw in Hogwarts Legacy for February if you have any enjoyment of the source material.

    Sure, the legality of it though basically precludes its use in any commercial project due to the use of licenced photos in the photobashing. It's an interesting field to watch emerging!

    Some gear has unique/different art for attacking! Each set has a few generic variants, but some are completely unique. Here's the splashsabre (best weapon in ch1) vs a regular sword.

    I don't know the story behind the characters but, as they're giants compared to the players size, and could be hiding in those barrels, i would call then: Shy Killer Giants.
