    Start early and do something every single day, no exceptions. Literally, just do something very little every single day, no matter how small.

    Yeah, exactly. D: And I mostly work with Etolier's faces, which I thought would be pretty easy to recolor, but there's a lot more subtle hues than you'd think.

    I generally copy the layer twice, use the first copy as a clipping mask for the second and erase everything I don't want to change then mess with the hue/saturation with the adjustment layers. Since it's a copy of the other layer I can be a little bit messy and it's not terribly noticeable and since it's a clipping mask I can mess up and just paint it back in again.

    yeah, I'd want the pack for all the other stuff aside from the tiles. The busts, battlers, icons etc ;)

    The Samurai pack has some neat tiles, and it has some battlers and sprites you can easily use in other games, but the style seems more painterly to me than the RTP.

    I keep wanting to make sprites when I really need to finish the story before I make more graphics.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
