  • Had a coworker file a complaint against me for leaving our truck's mirrors set at an angle that he doesn't use, and doesn't feel like he should have to adjust them for himself before he drives it. Management questioned his ability to do the full job if simply adjusting mirrors is such a big deal. XD

Man. You mean I can formally complain when people in my family drive my car and don’t put my mirrors and seat back into the fun house arrangement for my “technically an adult” body size?

Factory-regulated. I like that. I wonder if he changes the channel on his TV from the factory-regulated default channel that appears when you turn it on?

I mean, look at the difference XD It's a good thing our management understands how important it is to see down the sides and slightly behind the vehicle.

Okay we're officially moved into our new house. Everything seems kinda quiet. No bad feels yet... except for the inevitable soreness from moving... ow... Oh well.. the cool thing is this walk in shower has some serious water pressure and a bench, to sit on, so I'ma go have a nice warm massage XD
So a couple friends and I decided to draw ourselves as children. And I working on a drawing of little me in my current-day work uniform. God what is wrong with me? :p
Well, there was a shootout at work tonight. Stray bullet went through our office, into the next office, through their refrigerator, knocking its door open and out the wall. I was in my truck getting ready to shut down and call it a night. Ominous part: the bullet path grazed MY locker. %$#@ you too, Monday :\
The most difficult, dangerous enemy in Bethesda games are NOT Legendary Glowing Deathclaws, Ancient Dragons or Demon King Sorcerers... it's the freakin' hit boxes for props being a whole meter larger than the visible object! >.<
Alright... almost there... almost got it... almost finished... almost a homeowner. It's been a busy ride, and all of my resources are nearly drained. My income/expense ratio is about to be 1:1. It is time to strategize, to formulate a plan to ease the burdens. I propose an increase in income. Partner proposes... having a baby?

You know, for someone having a degree in accounting, she sure doesn't consider expenses...

Well... some good news from Kanori, actually... My interest in getting into aviation has been reignited by a wonderful story of a 14 year girl who made a cross country journey in an ultralight aircraft. Too many details to list, but the gist is I don't need to go through $15,000 worth of training to fly such an aircraft. I will need to thank her if I ever meet her at any airshows, etc. :)

If you don’t already, MentorPilot on YouTube has one of the most addictive aviation channels. He breakdowns aviation accidents and even recreates them in flight simulator.

Love me some MentourPilot, not so much his accident reviews, as they make me more sad than anything. Also 74Gear, FlgihtChops, Airplane Academy has got some fun content XD (I'm a total airplane nerd)
Okay, so it looks like I've bamboozled by that dastardly placebo effect again. Still taking the meds, which seemed to help at first, but yesterday evening my chest got this odd numbness, which didn't last long, but still. AND its still difficult to breathe. Guess I'll go spend the money I was saving for homebuying costs on another doctor visit :\

No idea what meds they are, but many have a slow loading phase because of the incident of side effects in many patients. Some take a while to reach therapeutic ranges.

@Avery I'm so sorry... I'm not trying to be a bum or anything I promise :( I've been telling myself I probably should post my feelings here too often. Things get rough for me on a frequent basis, and I really don't want to get anyone down.

Okay... I went and got examined... apparently I have had 'cardiac events'. But the current problem is a bit of inflammation around my heart, and in airways. So... got some medication and two days off work. Yay. :p

T'was no exaggeration. I do not fear death, or missing out on anything. I fear living in permanent turmoil, which is very easily brought on by life-long medical bills after your insurance provider points at you when hospitals ask 'who's paying?' If I could move somewhere where healthcare cost didn't equate to multiple mortgages, my tune would be different.

@SpyroFan67 If you're mildly autistic in the same way I am, you're better at actually listening to people rather than brush off the feelings of others as exaggerations, and thus will be a much better people-to-people communicator.

Sorry for answering for you! I should have left that to you.
As always, you have my support!
I'm still around... Have been quite busy with home-buying business, setting things up with my new project idea, etc. I also seem to be experiencing... heart problems... I'll respond to that with dietary changes for now. Not a chance in heck I could afford to be examined :o

@Kanori24 Heart problems are very serious and could indicate you might have a heart attack or something else. You need to see a doctor. Forget about how much it costs. You can always put it on your credit card or whatever. But you should get examined because it's important for your health and safety. Any debt from that you can deal with later.

Hear me when I say I would rather die than go into even more debt. I'm here for a good time, not a long time. If it turns out to be heart problems and not anything else, then I lose my job. And I love my job too much. I have a feeling I was just over caffeinated and over hydrated, causing the symptoms I was experiencing, so I'll back off on the caffeine and water this week.
Alright, so I've started developing a 3rd game (honestly the second one isn't going anywhere). This one will be yet another post apocalyptic survival RPG where you'll create a character to play. There will be multiple paths and choices available based on the character. They'll be solo for the most part, but there will be occasional sidekicks. Yes it will be a lot like Fallout XD
Waiting to hear if our offer of list cost was accepted... waiting... waiting... come on it's been two days how long does this usually take?! :o

Is the seller/agent holding offers until X date? I've seen that done, especially if there's a lot of traffic and interest on the property. The owner won't even look at any offers until the date, and then they'll decide that day (if they accept any offer)
If they have an agent, the agent won't even pass the offers to the owner before the date

Thanks for the info, everyone. We got a counter-offer. They're wanting to raise a little before they'll cover all of the closing costs, which we do not have due to inability to save more than maybe $200/month. Since the increase wasn't enough to raise my projected monthly payment by much, I accepted and am awaiting another response.

Hope they accept and you can get something :D
I had just read your previous status about the price of where you were going up to 1500/month... thats almost unthinkable coming from my point of view... and we pay $1200 here in central NC >.<
WELL... I know it's probably the worst possible timing, but we're buying a house! The rent at our apartment is going to climb to $1500/month if we renew the lease for another year, and other rental oppurtunities are just rampant with fees for literally everything. So we decided that if we're going to spend a lot of money, it needs to be in an investment.

Honestly while it could have been better timing a few years ago I'm afraid all economic signs are pointing to 3 years down the road likely making right now a brilliant investment in comparison. If you can at all afford it now is the time to buy property if you want to own any at all because we are due for another crash followed by another inflationary new 'normal' and no one is doing anything to prevent it.

@TESTOSTERONE The expected mortgage payments we're seeing are hundreds LESS than the current rent XD

A bit late to this party, but the last house we got we won through a foreclosure Auction... our house payments were about $350/month (2012 was ages ago when it comes to housing market)... the apartment we were in at the time was $1000/month and I about hit the floor when the Banker told us $350/month!
To some users here, I am she/her. To others, I am he/him. And that's perfectly okay. In fact, I weirdly enjoy not having solid pronouns. It's actually kind of nice to be thought of as both, to be honest. <3 The truth is, the personality everyone here gets when interacting with me is genuine, but I'm still not quite comfortable with my physical person being out there...

I am old and grew up using a certain default pronoun when gender was unknown. But now I am trying to use they/them more when gender is not specifically defined. I only used to do that when I purposefully didn't want to identify the gender of who I was speaking about. I realize that sometimes I assume gender based on avatars or other hints, but I try to watch for that.

I have been having the most bizarre dreams lately. But if there's anything reading manga has taught me, it's that bizarre and strange = uniqueness and that there is a crowd for that. So I've actually been writing down notes from last night's dreams so I can put together a new game around the ideas my brain randomly comes up with when I'm sleeping :p
We've got a strong storm front moving in, producing lots of lightning. and there are people just outside standing and walking around, seemingly not in any hurry at all to get indoors. They even reacted to that last close lightning strike with blasting thunder, but still didn't go inside. :\

So the concept for my Game Jam project is way more than I can complete before the deadline. But I think I found a way to get the core done and make the incomplete parts either not really noticeable or make them a part of the story for now. That sneaky, dastardly Krampus! Then I can complete the rest. Did I mention that this is fun?
