Hmm, I'm starting to think I lack Rpg Maker Talent, I can't Script, I can't make Digital Art, and I can't compose Music. Only thing I seem to be able to do is write a story. xD (My mapping is pretty bad too.) I need a pick me up.
Woohoo! I've gotten my game to the point where the good side is evented to where I am likely to have my demo stop. (Now I just gotta do Evil and Neutral.) :3 Though I doubt these maps are really final anyway.
Hmm I've been thinking that many good games have a mini game. I just can't decide if I should have a card type game or a chess sort of game. (Obviously this excludes all the minigames involved with gambling at a casino.)
Hmm I've thought about it and with my different good/evil path game in mind, I should have 2 different Post-Game bosses depending on your path. (Neutral might get something too, but I'm not sure.) If your good you fight Alex, and if your evil... well to be honest I kinda want to use Dalph as my Ultimate Evil Post Game Uber God Boss of Darkness. I get the feeling I'd need permission for that. xD
Hmm currently trying to mess around with making 2 Parallax Maps for each map one for Day and one for Night and for it to change with Vlue's Time Script... its a work in progress. (But I'm sure I can figure it out given more time.)
Well I finally decided on what to write for my essay, I was aiming towards Religion and boundaries, but I should have been writing about Religious Intolerance. (Very easy not to be biased on that subject.)
Hmm, I'm trying to write an essay for my English Class, its about how Religion can be a societal issue. (So far I've only come up with one reason and that being that it can create boundaries between us.)
Hmm so let me see if I got this right? Basically the whole demon hunting thing is kinda a mix of RP-ing in the sense that you have to make a post acting out the scene, and also kinda hide and seek as well as a collection sort of thing? Do I have that right?
So the number one complaint I get so far is the levels are simply too large. What's funny is in testing I deemed levels taking too long and actually shortened them. Figuring I could beat them in 5-6 minutes so players would be able to do so in probably double that. I was apparently very mistaken, only one player has mentioned even reaching the second area. Let alone the first boss.
I don't believe it. I actually did some proofreading in my game - and fixed some grammar errors! I feel so accomplished, knowing I can actually proofread my own writing!
...I've had a bad day, okay? Bad enough for me to want to proofread stuff.
Ughhh, July is not my month. Thankfully, it's nearly done.
