  • Seriously mods, act like adults. It's your brand you're damaging when you do that. There are plenty of other engines I can use.
Man I'm freaking out again. I need to work on that. Easy worrying about how easy it is to adapt something. Rather than new story for game.

I know a bunch of tricks for calming down if you'd like some help. One of my favorites is listening to nature sounds or meditation music. You can also try grounding, where you focus on things that are present around you, using all your senses.

Yea I might try that. Gotten into the habit of listening to French, Spanish, and Portuguese music lately.
I might take a bit to brainstorm a possible thread, but I'm not sure how to apply machine learning to game design in ruby.
I understand if some might find program suggestions useful in Atom, but for me it's distracting and even borderline insulting.
Managed to figure out tiling issue, so now I get import graphics normally again. Using an @ sign sprite and a # for walls.
Found a working maker for OS. Problem is: its designed to be compatible with 2000. May need to upscale tile size when switching to MV.
Project in prototype development. I can't run RPG Maker MV in Linux yet, but figured out how to open images in Ruby finally. Stats reset.:/
So does anyone know, is FPLE actually a real thing? I'm honestly skeptical.

The ACE one is awesome, but MVs is a WIP, but looks pretty good still.

Thanks. I might try it with a remake or something. Still not sure how it's going to be with SF tiles.

Problem with SF is there are so many different subgenres. So it seems a little far fetched for them to carry all the different genres out there.
Turns out this youtube vid was an April fools thing. No such "3D Script" for MV. It seems weird that that other videos didn't call it such.
At the end of the day, I like the gaming community better than writing. It's freer like web comics.

I do prefer to write, but sometimes a book just isn't where my writing works. Sometimes a game is better. So, hanging out here is good for that... and hanging out solo is better for writing books, ha ha.

Yeah, most writers just wanna bring you down. Not communities like this though!

Yea I noticed that with my recent work as well. And nope, that's why I love it.^^

OH MY GOD TORGAL IS THE CUTEST PUPPER
My PS5 arrived. Farewell, productivity.
An optimal price for an indie game on Steam also needs to be accompanied by an optimal sales discount %. For a solo indie game, I think the optimal price is where it should be low enough that a single Steam card can be used to buy it, after tax. A few cents the wrong direction can potentially mean someone who was gifted a Steam card can't buy the game, then picks something else to buy.
