Thanks so much to @KakonComp , @Dororo , and @RCXDan for their kindness and support for my latest project. Not to mention everyone else out there who has lent their support. This is why I love coming here.
So I'm currently designing an original game called "Angel of Justice" and it includes a three-tailed fox named Juzu. I love Juzu's personality--I made him jumpy and energetic.
I've had some hard times. A co-worker accused me (not going into detail here), and I am trying finish training next week. Still not paid yet, I think next week.
I got a job at Spirit Halloween! That means I will be earning my own money... I bet you can guess how I'll spend some of it! That's right. RPG Maker MZ!
First payday is next Monday.
I'm designing my Halloween costume early because of an advertisement I want to make for my game. Once I get MZ I'll start the game design, but for now I'm just making the sprites and a cool advert.
Nothing like eating sliders and drinking lemonade on a cloudy Labor Day. And Oreos for dessert! Kinda disappointed that MZ didn't go on sale but there's always Halloween!
I wish I could get on my old computer and grab the VXA RTP. I wonder if I can maybe use the same activation code to get it on a virtual machine. Then again, I need to actually buy W10 to install on it.
Since I no longer own VXA, and I can't use that software on a Mac, there goes my chance to use their assets and music. I need a Windows computer to use VXA, and the only Windows computer I have has broken.
Despite OPT2 praise it still has some strange stories in it. Lady Mikka is trying to work herself to death because of guilt. Guilt over what? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So instead of finding a NPC to have a heart to heart with her they decide the cure is a new kimono. So when she drops dead she'll at least be well dressed. I haven't even got to the strange part yet.
Did so much work on the game today. I wish I could post it all in this status update but there is a character limit of course haha. I thought about making a topic for updates, though... maybe.
The most recent sign that I am old. I have done martial arts for over 4 decades. Never HAD to stretch out. Good, of course, but never required. Was doing some kicks in the kitchen because, why not, and I felt a pop in the back of my thigh. Now I am limping around. Gotta love getting old.
