Still no scam calls all day... also I got a quick gig designing a mascot drawing for a small business, so I might actually make some green of my own after all. That would be a perfect job for me, since I love art and digital design.
Update... no scam calls all day. I think they learned their lesson. And I'm working on a fake anti-piracy video, featuring a fan game I'm making in MV. If I had the permission to make the game a licensed game that I could sell (rather than having it totally free like fan games are required to be), I'd use a really cool anti-piracy screen...
Today I had a little happy flashback to when my grandpa and I played doctor in his living room. We were visiting him in Tampa. I was about seven years old and my parents were out on an errand, so grandpa and I decided we would spend the night pretend playing. I miss him so much...
TRIVIA: I love Japanese food and culture! I've never been to Japan, but someday I'm going to go to Tokyo and do some touring, including Disneyland Tokyo and DisneySea! And I even prepared myself for earthquake safety.
Those kittens I met the other day all found loving homes. I might miss playing with them, but I'm glad they found owners to care for them. In the meantime, my Orlando trip is likely to happen on the 29th. While I wait for that, I'll be working on Angel of Justice...
Okay, I've decided to limit myself to one post in the morning and one in the evening, so not to break the rules again. If you want more frequent updates and a little peek into my game design and cosplay life, please follow me on DeviantArt:
Just got home from my little adventure. Before going home I stopped at Pecto and saw three cute little kittens--two girls and a boy. The boy, Scotch, really liked me and kept playing with my fingers. I wish I could have adopted him! The other two, Roury and Lil Blackington, also sniffed and kissed me for a moment but mostly just watched me. Scotch was quite the attention hog, lol.
Today I'm going to walk two miles to my favorite craft store, and then have lunch at a nearby Chili's, then walk back home and work on my game. Quite a day for me, but I need the exercise!
Halloween costume complete! I'll have my mom take a picture so I can post it on DeviantArt, and then I'll put a link here. I made the entire costume by hand, except for the shorts I'll be wearing--hey, this is Florida, it's still hot so I can handle it!
I've decided not to go to the trunk or treat at the college. I want to be exposed to as little as possible so my dad has a smaller chance of catching COVID. I'll save the festivities for when I visit him!
I hope I can get to Orlando this Halloween. My dad lives there--he works at the USTA. And he takes me to the arcades sometimes! Not this Halloween though. He has to be careful and not get sick because of his heart condition.
At least I'll get to go trunk or treating at my college though!
Thanks so much to @KakonComp , @Dororo , and @RCXDan for their kindness and support for my latest project. Not to mention everyone else out there who has lent their support. This is why I love coming here.
So I'm currently designing an original game called "Angel of Justice" and it includes a three-tailed fox named Juzu. I love Juzu's personality--I made him jumpy and energetic.
Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
