    You can have a Common event checking this if you want it to run more often than not. Check "common events" in game-settings make it be active by switch. turn this switch on when you get the shoes. Also you can add this to turn the common event off again by itself when you loose you shoes...

    How do I display a lot of text on the screen, maybe multiple screens of text? I keep running out of room...

    Did this yesterday on my game. with plugin mentioned above (yanfly message core) I used plugin command "message rows 20" and got a complete text screen. Also possibility to adjust pr pixel where you want every text line.

I haven't been able to solidify a cohesive plot so dropped out of a game jam but, on a fun note, I pre-ordered MZ today! :LZSwink:
So I just spent the weekend...playing my own game. The one I released last year. Yep you heard that right.
Goal for MZ? None... I'm still curious how to finish my VXA project and how it looks like when it actually finished. Which will take at least another two years. Coming late again to the party.
