A discussion in the Maker General threads prompted this idea on me: I'll get rid of leveling up for base parameters. Level ups serves a different function, and base parameters can only increase or decrease via other means. Let's see where this takes me.
I still want to recreate the Spellcraft system for my game, but I think it would be easier and less complicated to have the altered versions of spells as separate skills.

Lately, my project had a 50-50 chance of not getting past the loading screen when I run a battle test. Today, I tried running my game from the Playtest button and it remained stuck after selecting New Game.
Since I am not focusing on game art, I decided to take some time to make templates out of the default RTP icons. Placeholders be nice while the final thing has not been made.
So if I wanted to share little video clips of my game on here... without using youtube... what would be the most ideal way to do that? FWIW, I use Mega a lot to upload videos and just share the links with my friends.
The most important thing to design your game for is fun. If a game isn't fun, why would anyone want to play it? Well, that and "can you play the game?". Anything else is incidental.
