Used RMMV's default balloons as a quick way to show villager's needs without going into the menus! Time saved: A LOT!
And the little icons match the needs menu... good times!
Had a new desk delivered today, which meant I had to take everything off my old one and tidy it. How long will it stay tidy for? I'm predicting... not long!!
The team and I are taking a 2 month break from Evergloom (now in it's second year of development) to enter a Gamejam! We work pretty well together now so hopefully we can create something cool.
We've decided on a village idle game, because of the Jam's themes!! It's exciting to be working on something new!
We've been replacing the placeholder enemies in Evergloom with the real deal, and I couldn't be more pleased with how they are looking. Here's a short video of some of the new undead sprites.
Our Lore Wizard, Buttercup, just emailed me a draft of one of our in-game lore books, and it's one of my favorites so far. Her books are really bringing a vibrant history to Evergloom!
I've posted it under a spoiler tag called 'A study in 43rd Century Poetry' in our development thread!
It's dangerous to walk around Evergloom, especially for those with magic to be siphoned. The Novices in Ire's Keep are now a little safer with the addition of a quilted doublet to be worn over their dresses.
My brother makes some inane complaint about one of my stories in the comment section. My mom: if your bro doesn't understand it make it simpler. That prolly means others have questions too.Me: Sorry. I can't do that. I don't speak stupid.
Isn't "tableau" such a fun word to say? Even better is that our resident artists know what it means without google and probably get to say it regularly.
