  • Doodled a character from a side-project I'm working on... So far, it's actually been kinda nice having a "main" project and "smaller" project to work on at the same time. I can't explain it, but it's somehow making me more productive in both. Especially whenever I need to step back & think a bit about the main project. ...Is that normal? :rswt

You know... finally deciding that I miiight be better off holding off on making my 1st (complete) game be the one that'll have a bunch of custom stuff drawn by me, & instead planning a separate, smaller game that'll use a pack I bought but haven't used might be one of the better gamedev decisions I've made over these past few years... maybe? Yes, probably. :rswt
Oh jeez okay I'm in the same boat as literally everyone else who's getting used to the new theme.
Game has become a lot bigger than it was, originally... Considering working on a different, smaller project for my first game :kaoswt2:

1.)Development on contest entries MUST be started after the beginning of the contest (October 4th, 2017). Commissions for the contest must also be started after the beginning of the contest. Pre-existing assets that were not created specifically for the contest are allowed.
If you manage to make a demo of a game from scratch in just a month, good for you. But no demo has ever managed to win a prize.
Oh, thanks for all of your replies!
In the end I probably shouldn't stress myself by trying to rush a game out in about... 20 days.
Trying to learn how to use action sequences... This might be a long journey

It's not so complicated once you get the syntax, and thankfully there are plenty of tutorials/demonstrations of how to make complex effects out there for the taking.

Some classes are difficult to pass. I am good a math but I suck at chemistry. I could never pass that class.
ahhh im taking chemistry right now, surprisingly im not failing that one, but AP Lang & Comp. Still dont know why i chose a "college level class".
i feel like making a shortish game about two treasure hunters.

Marketing seems to be about reducing dependence on luck to sell a product, as well as expanding the number of avenues in which luck can play a role in selling a product.
So, I've been wanting to do this randomized logic puzzle in my game for years now. I finally figured out how to do it by using arrays and a few small script calls. It's based on the Einstein Fish Puzzle! :D Though, I have no idea how to actually have the player put in answers.... might start a thread about it.

The projectiles shown in this video are as follows:
1, Basic Triple
2, 30-Degree Arc
3, Randomized Blast Wave
4, 8-way
5, 8-way Double
6, 8-way Slowness
7, 120-Degree Arc Repetitive
8, Projective Triple
9, Split 8-way
10, 2-way Split Randomized Arc
11, HP-MP Split Arc
12, Split Laser
13, Shock
14, Cosine
