  • Update. Yeah…going all in with string quintet of E.G.G.M.A.N. I’m even pulling out my own instruments to make sure the bowing and positions are PRO. Sometimes you need to feed the goblins the trash they really want.

LOL you said the word "Eggman"; as a video game nerd, it immediately makes me think of Dr. Robotnik. XD

Oh my God LOL I looked at your post below; this IS a song from a Sonic game! Why didn't I notice that before?! XD
So…I totally COULD make more game music…OR I could work on my garbage dream of finishing this string quintet version of “E.G.G.M.A.N” from Sonic Adventure 2 that I started in 2014…

My cat is sitting on me while I play video games. I have truly ascended. This is what heaven would be for me.
With as many times as I’ve failed to take out the paraglider in time, I don’t think sleeping in the Shrine of Resurrection is the real reason Link lost all his memories in BotW.

@SpyroFan67 There is just something so hilarious about his animations. Like…I truly sense how painful they wanted it to look LOL.

Peanut Butter gamer is so funny. I love his videos. He always makes me laugh.
My latest resource release for you, forum friends! My ears hurt, I’m not gonna wear headphones for a few days, and play Zelda.

You know...I've looped a lot of tracks before with various levels of difficulty getting it seamless...but never have I wanted to guzzle an entire bottle of whisky quite like I do right now.
Actual footage before I’ve been given an espresso.

Alright, who else is really geeked for Tears of the Kingdom?!
Well...I think that's enough horsin' around for today. Progress check! WHAT I LEARNED IN BOATING SCHOOL TODAY IS! Tomorrow I'll work on my age-old problem of mercilessly drowning my lower and mid strings. Breaks my heart but the bass drum may be too much boom.

"What I learned in boating school"? Is that a Spongebob reference? I LOVE Spongebob, so I think that's really freaking funny! XD

@SpyroFan67 I genuinely might reference SpongeBob nearly every day. It’s the core of my childhood TV entertainment.

Finally studying all the audio mixing text books I’ve owned for years. “Meg, don’t you already know how to mix music?” …nope, not really, I have no clue what I’m doing.

@ATT_Turan My present style of mixing is “iunno, lemme Google that.”

@TheAM-Dol Will do! I definitely know the basics, but as expected, every element is a lot deeper than what I’ve been able to learn in passing. I took so much theory and composition but I wish they had at least touched on production.

For mixing I would definitely recommend Dan Worrall, but it never hurts to hit the books honestly (I also have a mixing book waiting to be read XD).

@MrDummyAcc_dot Yeah, I imagine that YouTube is a huge wealth of knowledge and I’m mostly a visual learner. But I like reading something to get my bearings than using visual/audio mediums to get the Ooooooooooh!!!
100 distractions later, a trip to the grocery for AA batteries for my mouse and I am FINALLY adding CC and velocity data to this song. IT IS SOOOO MUCH prettier now. Can't wait to get it edited for everyone!
He also whenever we had any plants or flowers in the house always jump up to where they were and try to eat them. And every Christmas, he'd always try to eat the branches off the Christmas tree. He was VERY mischievous! XD
Hey Ms Littlefish, you know how you said your cat is "cute when she wants to be when she's not getting into stuff"? My cat (he passed away three years ago) was like that, too. Like, if you were eating a sandwich, and you got up to go do something on your computer or whatever and then came back, he would actually jump up and start eating it by the time you got back.
Y’all, I know cats aren’t babies but if you told me I was going to utter phrases like “maybe when she’s taking a nap?” “she won’t stop hitting her sister” or, “she ate a piece of onion off the floor so now I’m too broke to go out tonight.” Getting a pet is a bigger decision then we treat it, lol. Love ‘em, though.

@gstv87 She definitely had a phase where she would cry for food, but she used to be a street cat. Once she figured out I feed her every morning she usually just purrs next to my head and rubs her face on mine at the same time my alarm is set to go off. :kaocry:

Yeah, I have one cat who is very graceful, never knocks anything over. Very polite. The other one is innocent, but a complete bowling ball. Doesn't know her own strength. Always has an expression like she knows she's doing something wrong but doesn't mean it.
Started playing Cassette Beasts last night. Not that far in, but so far I’m rather enjoying it! It’s a very aesthetic experience that adds a lot of complexity to the Pokémon formula of games.
I can’t be the only one who puts everything bagel seasoning on a ton of things because life would be better if more things taste like everything bagels…
When your partner is super literal. I forgot to bring my glasses with me when I woke up. Asked my husband to bring them when he works his way downstairs. He brought every pair of glasses I own. All seven of them.

there's a famous spanish fable that tells of a man and his very literal wife, who boils three chickpeas for lunch.
three, because the man calls for "put some chickpeas to boil", and in spanish "some" can be read as the sum of "one" and "two", so she figures "three"
....that's why I get technical with my terminology, and people wonder why I bother witch such complexity.

@gstv87 The English use of couple has a similar issue. It technically means two, but in usage it does not always really mean two.

He wasn’t sure which pair I wanted to wear today, sensible even if unnecessary. Good excuse to give them all a deep cleaning and adjustment.
Transposing to Db Major, shifting a part to tenor clef, and using a double flat.

Damn. We’ve gotten so close to 0 reports, 0 approvals a few times over the past couple weeks. Does it matter? No. Is it realistic. No? Do I rely on your reports and want everyone to keep posting. Yes. Do I 100% games? …sigh… Yes.

Ah yes, all three of my moods all at once.
Here's a tutorial I did on how I made my Leonardo A.I.-assisted artworks for my game's recent update. :rhappy:
