I had a saga frontier game for the first sony playstation.. I was not happy with it. I don't remember the music. I have heard good things about the franchise as a whole, but that first game was just awful for me. Couldn't have been that bad so many people liked it, meow.

@Sauteed_Onion Totally agree. The first was awful. The sequel, however, was fantastic.

Also, to add to your suggestion, I believe Hearthstone gives the player "without" the first turn an advantage to counteract the first strike. So I may implement something like that. I won't know for sure until I go through more tests for balancing.

@Sauteed_Onion I am, for sure. We'll always have those parts of game dev that we dread. But overall, this has been a great experience. All I need is a little more feedback and I can keep trucking along.

All my games so far have gone above the 300 map mark, and my current project is already over 200. It can be done, and you can do it if you just keep at it one day at a time.

My project is over the 300 map mark with all plot dungeons finished, and may cross 400 when I finish the side dungeons. Just keep plugging at it.

I know that feeling... only in code form. I'm rewriting a plugin I made from scratch because I needed to make some improvements and was lost in my own code. A rewrite will hopefully allow me to improve the base code and make the required improvements at the same time. x_x

I'm more concerned about the quality of the work when the focus is divided between two projects. Not to mention how long it would take. Craziness.

I draw for other projects but only have one thats mine. Don't think I could own more than one at a time either.

Well, you could continue to promote your game, only in bigger and better ways, in order to reach a wider audience. You could use any feedback you've collected to improve future projects: what did players enjoy, what didn't they like, etc.

You could do these things in addition to enjoying it.
