    How would you like to gain skills in a 5-9 hours RPG Maker game?

    I prefer level up for the unique moves, but I have these "tomes" that teach the user any element moves. I'm not sure where to place them though. Probably either through quests or finding them within the maps- I haven't figured it out yet.

    If you're looking for Undertale's battle system, SumRndmDde has that. Otherwise, it's all in eventing.

    Okay, it IS that I ultimately forgot that magic is put as "mat". I'll be closing the thread due to solving the problem now.

    a.mgi + a.atk * 2 + 20 I probably keep messing up the formula, because I forget things and through looking at other heal spells it's a.mat instead of a.mgi, which I have replaced Magic Attack with Magic in the system.

I've noticed that more videos on YouTube have these segmented bookmark things in the videos themselves. It's nice being able to jump to parts of a video you want, and to have them all clearly labelled.
Why you do this? Now I have to buy the new RPG Maker xD
I've always dreaded planning for my games so I just didn't plan at all. That... didn't work out after all. :kaosigh:
Turns out it can be kind of fun if you keep the scope small and don't take it way too seriously.
well... for the first time in months... I feel like my game is headed towards something again. I finally have it where I won't be drawing battle assets for the rest of the year...
