Trying to make a quite generic fantasy rpg (the scifi one is mostly on paper, fleshing out world and stuff)... Talking mechanics: how about making combat all about managing your elemental affinites on the fly! just a little idea.
Okay, I've been overreacting about the new law issue. It is not currently going to congress, it's in one of the pre stages if I'm correct (no idea how that works in the US). If enough people make clear that they don't want it, it won't pass. End of story. Like it did in 2006 and 2008. (been doing some more research). I was just worried about how it could affect the RM community, that's all. Omega Weapon signing out on this issue.
Adapting Pokémon Mystery Dungeon to tabletop! YAY! (I'm gonna need a course in Excel, really, if I want to make all calculations easier for me and the players)
Yay, computer had to be reset. I have an image of before the reset, as in ONE HOUR. however, when mounting the image, the laptop asks for a recovery disc. Problem is: My laptop doesn't have a disc drive! I do have a boot-stick however, which should be able to act as my recovery disc. Problem 2: My laptop is stubborn as hell!
For anyone who didn't see my post yesterday, let's just say that I tried to make a plugin and it went horribly wrong. I was so far off base I think I was in another ballpark. But hey, I still learned a couple of things. Even if one of them was to leave the plugin stuff to the experts and big boys/girls/people of pluginy persuasion.
there's been various points where my game was actually frontview. I think I'm gonna go back to that actually. One reason I'm almost at the 5 year mark (come April) with this project is literally I just have to keep drawing stuff. So I think if I do what I'm thinking of with frontview, that'll save a LOT of time.
