    Welcome back!
    Finally getting it right. The payoff for the hundreds (or thousands) of hours of work. When something you imagined and wrote down became real enough to spark emotion within. There's nothing like it.
    A fifth book? Would Convergence even require more than the four I've already written? 48-56 "issues" is enough damned work to begin with, but it seems that there is still story to be told. xD
    MV will kill VX projects after all. All of a sudden, I can't give money away to get a commission worth the price I'll pay for it. Economic Death is the first stage.

    People are still making games on pre-Ace engines e.g. To The Moon - XP & Lisa - 2k3. It's not the engine you use, but how well you use it.

    I agree. Older engines aren't going to die. Except for VX maybe, since VX Ace is objectively better, right?
    Considering that "good" and "evil" are a matter of opinion, I am unable to pick sides. I'll stay on Team NPC for the duration of this event.
    An E-Mail I totally missed and several phone calls I totally ignored last week ended up being a surreal opportunity. How strange the world can be.
    It felt really nice to "secure funding" for the project. Now comes the fun process of researching people to spend it on. I've already chosen a mapper, but there are a ton of artists and script makers out here.

    That is the latest one I released. The new funding will be mostly for facesets, additional artwork, and some script work. My mapper and my musicians are pretty well set up.

    I'm not a reviewer, but I'd be willing to give feedback on it.
    I have a fresh release of The Prologue that I'm anxious for brutal feedback on. If anyone would like to try an Interactive Novel, shoot me a line.
    Finished the visual content update to The Prologue and will release tomorrow. Now...back to what started that whole mess...
    Just can't seem to get past the thought that MV will kill interest in VX/VXA Projects. The timing of this is crushing.

    Nah, it won't kill interest in Ace projects. Whenever I check out an RM game, I don't look for which version of the maker it was made in. Neither would other people. This is especially more applicable if you're going commercial, since the larger gaming community just cares about playing a fun game and not to play it just to see the capabilities of the engine.

    I think I have filtered this response down to a negative view. What I would call it a "Sideline Attack" of RPGM through my own work. This was not something I ever anticipated, to be honest.

    I still plan to work on Ace for another year until I get the hang of MV. I'll probably just use it practice and smaller games
    I simply can't allow myself to be distracted by MV. I can't learn it, and I still have 45 issues to build on Ace.

    Oooh, but the temptation....
    Made basic Title Logos for the first 14 Issues, both Volume Covers, and the Book Cover. It's amazing how it all comes all at once.
    Issue #1 has been core-evented using Zero Switches and only a handful of required variables. This will allow me to combine them into future volumes without having to worry about that...generally major...pain in the ass...
    After ten days of debilitating headaches, I finally caved in and went to the doctor. Doctors in the US are more interested in the Monetary Note than in the Hippocratic Oath. It's saddening.
    After a week of trying to cover up a single bad animation (that I seriously can't do any better) with lighting effects, I've finally found the look I've been wanting. Stationary Animations are one thing. Mobile ones are...hard...
    With the foundation built, putting #1 together has been a snap. I can produce 2 Issues of the Convergence Interactive Novel a month without pushing it, which is exactly where I wanted to be.

Swapped back to my original meds, but the flippity floppity has me reeling. T ^T I have game making and song collabs to do, hurry up, health. lol
It took me 6 retries to get the color of Yoshi I wanted. 30 mins of recording. 30 mins of voice work. Probably another 20 mins of waiting in between takes. But finally I got him...
I bought a 2 week emergency food supply. And people are already making fun of me :( I'll be fed for a bit while they go hungry when food supplies get cut(for whatever reason).
Start of semester today. This is going to be a long one.
Can't wait for the next Sonichu
