Phew ... such a whirlwind of activity! Too stressful to keep up. Time to crawl into the coder cave, hybercode, and then emerge in a few weeks with a plugin or three.

I have been listening to the new music tracks for MZ included in the sample game projects ... for way too long. Quite catchy!
Does anyone else marvel at the tweaks and hacks that programmers of retro consoles needed to use to create various audio and graphical effects in a game? I could watch these kinds of videos all day ...

Phew! Tinkering with a function to deep parse plugin parameters and insert default data (including structs). Recursion makes my head hurt.
All of my projects eventually transform into a testing ground for plugins and practicing tile techniques. I tinker too much ...

Feh! I am getting back into the RPG Maker scene and wanting to create a horror game for Halloween ... but no ideas are flowing.
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell is a wonderful show. Although I admit to be somewhat biased, as I rather enjoy magic and whimsy. I tentatively peeked at the series on Netflix and several hours later I have no more episodes to watch.
Since @Quasi is meandering away from RPG Maker whatnots, I spent all day doing a from-scratch re-write of his Simple Shadow plugin to include various fixes and features.
And everything looks the same. Oh well, at least I know the back end is completely different. Ugh. The realm of sprites and tilemaps is a terrible, confusing place ...
Is RPG Maker VX ever on sale? I have purchased every RPG Maker except for VX because I can never seem to come across a good deal. I would like to tinker around with and/or peruse through super old projects, but not if nostalgia is going to cost me 60USD ...

That is ok. I know the rest of the Actor 3 Set...
so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most.

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
