    I do not know, because I cannot see the rest of it. It will if it covers an area that is intended to be walked on, unless you want that to be hidden to add a touch of puzzle-element to the map.

    Just don't have that in the foreground on the parts of where you want the player to see where he/she needs to go.

    it's all rtp and some other free asset mix up
    I just can't find a good prisoner(lazy to do one)
    and in fact this game will set in dystopia (just experimenting with parallax)
    so maybe I will keep that bed

    Looks like Mog's Weather plugin. Honestly the best results I've gotten are from a lighting plugin like Terrax Lighting. It just creates a more realistic look. Filters look like crap.

    Mog Weather has a fog option. Honestly I think the problem here is that the fog needs more opacity. It's really washing out the color of your scene.

    well... I always feel parallax consume too much time to draw
    but... after I try to make tile map to match my expectation again and again

    Yeah I don't know what people are going on about, in half a hour I can come up with a great looking parallax map. But a tilemap? You basically have to be Michelangelo to make that look good. Usually takes countless hours.

    honestly at first I just want to do another generic jrpg h game…
    because that will not much time consuming
    so the default tileset is ok
    it quick and effective
    but as much as I put time in it I just want to polish it more and more…
    and here we go again do parallax ugh…

    Honestly, I'm sure not everybody should do parallaxes.
    Why would you need parallaxes on your actual map ?
    I see a some mistakes, but nothing related to overlays.

    it is easy to think how to draw a pretty character(the outcome is the other thing)
    but with the unique one
