I'm blown away when a mistake or serendipity create something awesome. I was just trying to recolor this to match a battler, and I misaligned the main layer. When I fixed it and prepared to erase the misaligned color layer, I discovered something amazing. Is it blood? Shadow? I don't know. It looks cool.
I made two important milestones today. First of all, I edited my project to the point it wouldn't start. Second, I deleted a map I didn't mean to, and all it's children. Fortunately they were under heavy construction anyway.
So apparently events "walk" around when you're not looking if you don't fix the direction, so if the same event changes to another sprite it can randomly be a different row. How nice.
I'm going back to the default RTP, in the interest of getting it done. FSM is lovely but slow to work with and has tall doors. And switching to tall sprites would mean a lot of franking, and also the horses will be small.
Couldn't sleep at all so I started working on the topmost deck. I've had to make several deviations from the Imperator/Berengaria's deck-plans to accommodate MV's movement, but 100% accuracy was never my intention.
Still no name for the poor ship...
Suddenly, games mean nothing. The money spent was worth it to bring souls towards the light of life. May God bless my path forever. I pray that all are shaken for truth and poured out flat on the table of true understanding, knowledge, and wisdom. Bless you.
