I'm blown away when a mistake or serendipity create something awesome. I was just trying to recolor this to match a battler, and I misaligned the main layer. When I fixed it and prepared to erase the misaligned color layer, I discovered something amazing. Is it blood? Shadow? I don't know. It looks cool.
I made two important milestones today. First of all, I edited my project to the point it wouldn't start. Second, I deleted a map I didn't mean to, and all it's children. Fortunately they were under heavy construction anyway.
So apparently events "walk" around when you're not looking if you don't fix the direction, so if the same event changes to another sprite it can randomly be a different row. How nice.
I'm going back to the default RTP, in the interest of getting it done. FSM is lovely but slow to work with and has tall doors. And switching to tall sprites would mean a lot of franking, and also the horses will be small.
I really, really want the Magic story to be good, but instead we got today's chapter of the most predictable mish-mash of tropes with almost no personality. I let go of the physical game years ago, but I can't seem to let go of the story.
I introduced a new character to Mintabelle's Wonderland. Fufu the Raccoon! She's supposed to be a motherly daycare attendant, but when the power goes out, she becomes a monster. Rumor among kids says she causes these outages herself...
