    ****loads of weird drama, transphobia, and then a general state of chill :D
    I'm honestly pretty bummed out at how little (0) sales my game had after hundreds of hours developing it, adding stuff that no other RPG Maker games have, and trying to market it. I'ma uninstall RPG Maker and try something else.

    Edit: Ohoh... i found the Pictures. 5€ for Maps that look like they are taken fresh out of a Prototype Project. Not polished. Pictures indicate clunky RPG Maker Gameplay.

    I feel like your game just doesn't standout from the crowd of RPG Maker games and i gotta agree with @Bex aswell.
    You can blame the engine if you want to,sure ,but it's how you use it and RTP graphics on paid projects don't tend to do well, it's unfortunate, but it's how people mostly outside the RPG Maker circle feel like.
    And i also want to say that i'm sorry if i come off as rude.

    I have absolutly no Problem with the RTP Graphics, it is how they were used and/or presented in the Pictures. I like the RTP Style.

    yea those would be appreciated! Although take into consideration theres still little content available... but I'm already working on more offline maps!
    Took a while, but finally released an update to my game. Now to see if anyone buys it :')
    The fact RPG Maker has many flaws that never get fixed, and then new versions get released, which also dont fix the issues, is really disappointing.

    That's what I'd like to know. RM seems fine to me, but it could just be because I've used it for so long, I've come to just roll with it.

    This part of the forums exist to help tell the developers about bugs, flaws, glitches, etc. And often times someone finds a(n inconvenient) workaround for the present.

    @Nereid then check itchio. One person can do everything on their own, it just takes time.

    @The Stranger read what I said. Its not simply default assets(I myself use some in my current project), its about not putting any effort in a game and trying to sell it.

    Its impressive how much performance u can gain on RPG Maker MV if you simply replace things like "forEach" on the corescripts with a normal for loop. Makes you wish the engine was designed with performance in mind rather than just easy readability

    Note that forEach produces an iterator object to loop over: an important difference if the array is (for whatever reason) modified during the loop. Not sure if that applies to the core scripts, though.

    The performance improvements were substantial, considering that I was dealing with hundreds(or thousands) of events being dynamically created and deleted.

    Also, anything that foreach can do, for loops can. The difference is, foreach will either create and run a funcion for each value of the array, or just call a function for each value(it depends on whether or not you declare the function with a name outside of it or not). Either way, its slower

    node.js and Chromium both updated v8 to 9.1, which means faster built-ins for desktop and around 15% faster overall performance accross all platforms thanks to their new jit compiler. Can't wait for NW.js to update both
    super disappointed there will be a new RPG Maker without the current one being "finished"(we all know it wont get any more updates)

    What's the problem with MV? It works fine and it's stable now. Also it's not worth updating it anymore, all Yanfly's plugin might break and he retired so won't be there to fix them (same for many other good plugin makers).
    I think they provided enough updates already (3 years), the engine performs much better now than the older versions.

    MV is "fine" but we were promised a lot of things that havent been added to it yet, but were planned, and now obviously will never come.

    I bought MV and VX Ace, but if thats how kadokawa is going to do things, I'm not buying RPG Makers anymore

    @Dalph Yanfly's plugins are being updated by other people. All the money he got for them is set aside to pay others to keep them up to date, and, I believe, to port them to new engines if necessary.
    Gonna try to raise the max player/event limit in my game to 1000 per server and then benchmark it to see what happens
    does people watch game making streams? Been thinking about doing one of those, but dunno if I should

    I done it for a while. People watch it, just wont be as many at first. Just have to keep them streams coming. For me it something you have to spend some time getting good at. But I say go for it!

    I can't decide if a stream of me deving would be entertaining, or just tedious when you see how much internal testing I do. I really do just kind of dev by "breaking stuff" till it works, so I test a lot of "ideas". And when the smoke clears, I keep the winners. :LZSexcite:

Well. *That* was an entertaining fustercluck — and that’s not meant nearly as sarcastically as it sounds. I just had to make four different versions of the same conversation:
1: Attained MacGuffin.
2: Have not attained MacGuffin, but know its location.
3: Do not know MacGuffin’s location, but have a good idea where to find it.
4: Do not know where to look for MacGuffin.
